Sometimes there's others; gravel roads that lead somewhere else, telling the story of another life and how it could have been. This is the rocky, dirt road of Sakajin Aditu Takio, a young half-breed who finds herself twisted in the fate her mother left behind long after she disappeared. When Sakajin is taken in as a mechanic and later unwillingly becomes the apprentice of General Grievous, she finds herself learning the ugly consequences of war, and starts to question who she can trust and who she wants to fight.

The Clone Wars has just started, and Grievous is still unknown to the Jedi. No one is able to survive him to spread word. But what happens when he finds a more profound challenge...
