i  sit down at the slytherin house table in the great hall and listen to professor dumbledore declare a few announcements for the opening of our fourth year at hogwarts.

we get permission to leave the hall and into our dorms.

,,you may leave the great hall and into your dorms by curfew which is 8:30pm. your professors will be on the look out for any mischievous snooping during curfew, and if you do get spotted, you will be in great trouble.'

everyone leaves the hall to their common rooms, i find myself walking by blaise zabini.

,,hey blaise'

,,what's up, pretty'

i blush a little and smile whilst rolling my eyes.

,,had a good holiday?'

blaise says.

,,not really, bit boring, you know...you?'

i try to not sound ungrateful.

,,yeah it was alright'

he smiles.

i say goodbye and we part ways to the girls and boys dormitories.

as i'm about to open the door to my dorm room, i feel a tap on my shoulder. i turn around and see him again.

what a surprise. no, actually it as a surprise because why has he followed me?

,,uh, yeah?'

i say a bit confused to malfoy.

,,don't think about earlier on the train. it was nothing but a mistake and i didn't mean to do...well... anyway, like i said, don't think anything of it and definitely don't think we are friends because we're not.'

he says coldly with a harsh tone.

before i could say anything, malfoy turns around and quickly walks into is dorm with blaise which seems to be opposite mine.

even though he said 'don't think about what happened' i start thinking about the whole thing even more until it replays, and replays in my mind like a video clip.

i open my door to my dorm and see no one in it yet. i get into my pyjamas, (which look like ordinary chilling clothes. appropriate to take a walk in them i guess.) and lie down in my bed staring at the ceiling.

after lying under the covers for roughly twenty-minutes i realise im not going to get to sleep anytime soon, so i decide to take a stroll somewhere and clear my head.

i walk out of my dorm, down the stairs, and out of the slytherin common room.

i sneak out of the castle checking corners for unexpected teachers lingering about checking for any mischievous 'curfew skippers', (like me) and onto the grass i go. i find myself at the astronomy tower, i look up and the beautiful, lit night sky, with thousands of glistening stars glittering down on me. the scene reminds me of a dark, mysterious ocean. you never know what's down there.

i use similarities for the two because i wonder if my parents are up there looking down on me. you never know who's up there. it is really beautiful, the sky is tonight. it's luminous. the constellations are heavenly. i treasure the sky. it relaxes me. the astronomy tower has the best view though.

i walk up the stairs of the astronomy tower and see someone, i quickly hide, squint a little, and adjust my head to try and figure out who it is.

i roll my eyes and there we was, malfoy. again. he's standing by the balcony with his back at me. his hands are rested on the balustrade.  he's everywhere, he just appears places where i am. it's like he knew i was gonna be there. weird...

i walk next to him and look up at the sky.

he turns to me and jumps.

,,for merlins sake! what are you doing here y/l/n.'

he says coldly.

,,i didn't plan to come here and expect to see you'

i mumble, then answer his question.
,,can't get to sleep, you?'

malfoy doesn't answer me and keeps a distance from us whilst he looks at the sky.

,,do you like it too then?'

i say as i watch him look up.

,,what?'

,,i said do you like it, the sky.'

,,what? no. don't be so ridiculous!"

he denies harshly with a slight raised voice.

,,alright...i was only asking-"

silence fills the air as i awkwardly stood there.

,,why are you still here."
he groans.

,,can i not do anything, malfoy!"
i raise my voice.

,,well why are you stood here next to me."

,,because i wanted to go somewhere to clear my head, and the astronomy tower helps me do that. but, you happen to be here! is that okay with you? can i stand and look at the sky? let me guess, oh! i'm not allowed to do that because an annoying idiot doesn't want me to be in his presence all of a sudden!"
i shout quite loud at him.

,,how dare you shout at me, you-"

he spat.

,,or what?! what are you going to do 'tell your father about it'!?''
i shout and mock him.

,,get out of my sight y/l/n!'

with an angry stomp which makes the wooden top floor creak, i turn around and storm off. he just made me so annoyed when he shouldn't of said a thing. i wanted to go there to calm down and make myself tired but i come out angry, frustrated and more awake then ever!

i had no choice but to go back to my dorm, so i started walking. i guess i was expecting draco to come after me and apologise.

,,can't you just be nice for once?'
i ask quietly as i turn around to him. what a surprise, he doesn't say anything.

i think i hear him mutter something but he would of actually spoke if he was going to say something to me.

,,not even a sorry?'
i pause for a few seconds.
,,right, i see how it is. not talking to me now, are you?'

i sigh in annoyance.
,,okay then. you go ignore me, even though i haven't actually done anything'
i say under my breath and finally turn back round to carry on walking towards the castle.

obviously thinking about what just happened, i sneak round the corners of the corridors, checking for the odd teacher here and there again. due to my luck, i don't see any.

i make it into the slytherin common room and i walk into my dorm.

i get into my bed and i drift off to sleep.
