i still haven't found malfoy. it's been a day and i'm getting so worried. i'm already 3 lessons in for today with one lesson left. i've looked everywhere again and checked the places twice. he's definitely not in the castle.
i complete my last lesson and when i loose hope, walking back to my dorm to rest, i see him walking along the way.
,,malfoy!!!" i almost shout, running to him and hugging him. i didn't even realise i was going to hug him but i was just so worried about him that i embraced him automatically.
,,y/n?"
,,malf- i mean draco, where have you been!? i've been looking for you for a day!" i say, still hugging him. he didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around my waist.
,,well..." malfoy reaches for something in his pocket, and brings out a small, rectangular box. ,,i felt bad for walking out on you yesterday, when i left, i was going to go to my dorm but instead, i went into town and got you a present."
,,y-you got me a present?" malfoy passes me the box and i slowly open it, it soon reveals a beautiful bracelet. it's a silver beaded bracelet with a circle charm and an engraved letter D on it. malfoy gently takes the bracelet from my hand and puts it on my wrist. he notices i'm wearing the chained bracket he also gave me and he smiles.
,,'D'??" i ask.
,,yes, i thought i'd get it with my initial on so you'll never forget who got it you."
,,i love it." i hug him again, it feels nice having him hold me.
,,wait but why did it take you a day to get it?" i ask, slowly pulling away from the embrace.
,,well, it didn't exactly take a day to get the bracelet. after i bought it, i thought i may as well pop into the hogs head and have a few drinks but i got carried away and ended up getting drunk and sleeping on a bench just outside the pub."
,,oh draco!! you must be so tired, come on let's go to the common room."
we walk to the common room and due to our luck, no one is there. we sit on the sofa together, watching the lit fire crackle and pop. after a little while of talking. i notice that it starts to get silent and he starts to close his eyes. before i knew it, malfoy's eyes were fully shut and his sleepy head falls on my shoulder. our bodies are close together and almost touching. his body feels cold so i adjust mine and lean against the arm of the sofa. his body lays on mine and his head is on my chest. i stroke it softly.
i feel myself drifting off too. i know i shouldn't, but i end up falling asleep with malfoy still lying on me. the fire's sizzling gradually gets quieter and quieter when i find myself in a deep sleep.
the night passes and i wake up, i'm sure its saturday morning, hopefully not late evening on friday still.
malfoy is lying on me in the exact same position and he's still fast asleep. my eyes start to wonder across the room and then slowly back onto his face. he looks so cute when he's asleep. i run my fingers through his hair to move it out of his eyes and he seems to feel it. he opens is eyes and i smile at him.
