Nikolaos looked at himself in the mirror once more, adjusting his clothes and combing through his hair with his hands, tussling it lightly.
He was getting ready for his girlfriend, Nadia Graham, to arrive at his home. It was the next day after he argued with his parents, and although his heart felt heavy after reading their apologetic messages in the small group chat for the three of them earlier that morning, he quickly brushed aside the past conversation, thinking about his dear beloved.
Nikolaos and Nadia first met in year 12 six years ago but started dating the year after. They'd been together ever since. They went on hundreds of dates across the entirety of England and shared numerous kisses and intimate moments. They met each other's parents, and Nikolaos was sure she was the woman he would stay with for the rest of his life. He found her perfect in every way and loved doting on her, taking care of her when she was ill, and making her smile on her worst days.
That was an aspect of Nikolaos that made him slightly different from those around him. He tended to be overprotective at times, and came off as possessive to others. It was a small aspect of his that caused some issues at the beginning of his relationship with Nadia. She didn't enjoy how he would constantly worry about her each day, wishing for her phone to not buzz every second of the day. Nikolaos understood and toned it down. He always altered the way he was around her to make her the most comfortable she could be.
The bell on his door rang and he fiddled with a ring on his middle finger before going downstairs to the door and opening it with a bright smile. Nadia stood there, sharing the same smile with slightly less intensity. She was always more toned down in that sense.
She had light brown hair that was blonde in some areas due to her obsession with dying it in her earlier years and had several piercings on her ears, a septum on her nose, and a hidden belly button piercing. Her clothing of choice for the evening was as casual as she was, with a plain blue shirt and ripped blue jeans. She raised a plastic bag in her hand, grinning widely. "I got some beer on the way, I hope you don't mind," she said, stepping in.
Nikolaos took the bag from her hand, gently holding her other and kissing her lips softly. "Not at all. Come in." He placed the bag on the dining table along with the food he bought on the way. "Ooh! Chinese!" Nadia clapped happily, running to the table giddily. A deep chuckle resonated from Nikolaos at her excitement, and he opened the packaged food, knowing Nadia preferred eating it from the original packaging than a plate. He didn't understand the difference, but she swore there was one, so he complied.
While they ate, chatting about what had been happening with them during the days they weren't together, Nadia chugged a can of beer. Nikolaos furrowed his brows at the unusual action and moved the others away as she went for another. "Is something wrong?" he asked, concern littering his face. She looked at him nervously, but laughed it off, hitting his shoulder lightly.
"What do you mean? I'm just really happy we're together again after so long," she defended, holding a fresh can of beer and opening it, the pop and hiss resonating in the air. Nikolaos stared into her hazel eyes for another second before resuming his meal. He didn't miss the way her leg bounced, a nervous tick, but didn't comment on it.
After the two ate, Nadia insisted on singing karaoke for the next hour and a half, dancing with Nikolaos and she sang to him funnily. He smiled as she jumped around the living room, enjoying her enjoyment. She straddled his legs while singing 2002 by Anne Marie and they shared a long, passionate kiss that ended in the microphone falling to the ground with a loud screech and their hands fondling each other's bodies.
The silly moment between them quickly turned hot as their bodies clashed, Nikolaos' hands going under Nadia's shirt and her arms wrapping behind his neck, pulling him closer. It was almost as if they were glued together, their bodies rubbing against each other in a frenzy. The steamy moment ended when Nadia pulled away, giving both of them the chance to breathe as much air as they could.
