"In the cracks of light"

In the very small window, that had become her source of light. Silence was Clydeth's only friend. She did not have any cellmate, so it was just only her.  Wind then entered her cell, and as she look up, her eyes followed a dark something. It was floating, and slowly, it had fallen. And when the light was shining in the right angle, it revealed that it was leaves. Of a willow tree.

What it was doing here?

And how did that happen? The leaves weren't like any other trees, it wasn't as light as a feather. It was, heavy for a wind to just carry around.

It was just like — magic is still very much alive here — magic. She remembered what Queen Anny had said, and feeling the rush of excitement, she then began reaching the little window with grills. Trying to see what was outside or who.

As she was struggling, keeping her tiptoes, she heard a few rush footsteps coming her way.

She held her breath until Rufus and some unknown others came behind him, she was relieved.

"Clydeth, we're saving you! Get the keys!"

"Don't you dare order me, Dog!" Hissed back the cat. Its fur was as black as midnight.

Clydeth stared at the strangers, except Rufus, as they saved her. When her cell door finally opened, she jump down from where she is and approach the three daring creatures that saved her.

"Thank you."

"You are most welcome, Your Majesty. But we must go now, now!"

On cue, knights began running towards their direction. Clydeth was pushed to move forward, as she closely followed the midnight cat out of the cell.

Clydeth was impressed on how the cat navigated them that lead them out of the castle prisons, and her face meets the sun's rays once again. When Rufus came out, he ordered them to run away.

As they began to ran, the midnight cat yelled. "Min!"

It was her friend, Min Monkey. Some knights have got her.

"No, they caught her."

"Then we save her." Clydeth said, quickly looking around and found something shiny against the wrapped vines around its body. A sword, in fact.

She quickly pull it out and began walking towards where they came from and throw it inside the prison where it hit a knight's ear.

"Ah! My ear!"

Min immediately moved like a soldier, she stomped the knight and get out of his grasps. Not forgetting to get the bloodied sword, and get out to follow the others.

Min quickly catch up to them, and she hand out the sword to Clydeth.

"Your sword, Your Majesty."

Without any thought at all, Clydeth accepts the sword and began leading them out and ventures themselves into the middle of the forest.

They just ran and ran and ran, to get away from the knights. Who were literally following them, and she knew, she needed a distraction. But where would she get a distraction at the time like this?

And just then, a raven fly above them.

"We need help! Call them!" The cat yelled to which caused the raven to only fly more ahead to them.

Clydeth, then sees a flock of ravens flying above them and attacking the knights. Clydeth stopped to look back, and widens her eyes at the sight.

Min notices this and immediately drag Clydeth away from the scene and fled to safety. Then in just in front of them, was the sea again. And when she thinks about it, the seas does glisten like the shiniest of diamonds. Or was she just exaggerating it all?
