"Misery, like the war of words"
Clydeth, wasn't much of a morning person or an early bird. But now, surprisingly, she is. She wake up, much earlier than Mallory, or was it because she was much older than Clydeth herself? Perhaps it was the age, but its usually the older people wakes up much earlier than most people so why?
Whatever the answer was, she didn't know. And now, she was awake, she couldn't possibly just go back to sleep as she would normally do, as she was in another's house. So she decided to get out of the hut and let herself feel some fresh air.
She hug herself as she sees the fog lightly surrounding the whole forest, even blurring the willow tree.
Now that her mind was clear and calm for the peaceful morning, her eyes shifted direction, and onto the direction of the village yesterday. Her mind, has many questions that leave her more puzzled, and curious.
How was the villagers?
Did the Queen imprisoned them?
What have they done wrong?
Is Mr Rufus okay?
Was he imprisoned too?
What were they doing there, in that village and had decided to burn it down?
Does it has something to do with her?
The more that she thinks about it, she can't help but remember what she and Mallory had talked last night. About that prophecy about her, about her being the 'chosen' Daughter of Eva. What does that even mean?
"My eyes just became a sign of me being a royalty, just great." She bit her lip and begins to think more about it.
What if she was? And how was that prophecy even going to do with this situation? It was not as if she was the only one, who is going to stop the whole situation that might have been happening for years now before she came.
Her prophecy even become a folklore. And the sea will glisten like the shiniest of diamonds as a sign that she have arrived, like oh my god. How amazing to think she was magical at some point. And now, she was going to written as the most curious 'queen' to be as she venture her way towards the small village, that was most likely a clearing now, because of the fire yesterday.
As she neared the place, she slowly approach a big tree to hide herself. And look at the state of the village, as obvious the answer was, she was worried. She look around for any signs of living, when a hand toucher her shoulder blades.
It shocked her, obviously. Her heartbeat started racing, and as she turned her head behind. She saw Spades, one of Queen Anny's knights.
"I finally saw you."
Spades then harshly dragged her out of the tree she was hiding and, push her towards a covered carriage, ready to transit her towards Queen Anny. As one of the rebels, which she was clearly not.
"Let me out! Get me out of here! I am no rebel, please!"
Spades didn't listen to her and only proceed to horses and left the village. She was now captured, thanks to her great curiosity.
"Look at what you have done to yourself, Clydeth Lilian Gomez. You are so stupid. Ahhh!"
The ride towards the palace was rather bumpy, most of the time. And all she have to do was either sit, or find a way to get out a running carriage, power by a galloping horses. Perhaps it was better sitting than falling down to some rocky path, but this sitting down might even be much worse.
Oh no, oh no. Her mind began to buzz with many warning signals as she felt the carriage slowing down. And voices outside the carriage she is in, serving as her temporary cell. Constraining her from escaping and such.
