as mr. slugworth approached you with this horrifying words, you shook your head slowly.
"you don't mean..." you started, but mr. prodnose cut you off with this annoying, unnecessary insight.
"that we want you all three to die? yes. we do mean that!" mr. fickelgruber shot him a glare as he immediately zipped his lips.
you, willy, and noodle all stood in one place, shaking as the evil group cornered you, you threw ultimately backing into a shut door. you all laid flat against the door, hoping someone would come to rescue you all, but stupidly, you guys didn't make an alternate plan for if you guys failed the original plan.
"please, don't do this!" noodle pleaded.
"why would i not? for a child who's father was a hopeless romantic? and a mother a... poor?" mr. slugworth grimaced as felix gagged at the queue of the word "poor".
"what do you mean?" noodle stuttered.
mr. slugworth went on to explain how noodle's father was his brother who married out of love. noodle was tearing up as you painfully looked at willy, then at noodle.
"why would you say that?!" you screamed in slugworth's face. he was wonderstruck by your bold remark, but as he began to speak his comeback, you continued talking without hesitation.
"all my life, i have grown to think being a swindle is okay. my father has taught me the wrongs in the world can always be converted to be right. but, wrongs are called "wrongs" for a reason! i have found a caring friendship with each person i met in scrubbit's, even if they are considered "poor". even if you guys end up drowning me in the corrupt chocolate that you all so crave, so be it! at least i've died knowing i've found a true love and real friendships, unlike all three of you!" you yelled. willy looked at you, practically with hearts in his eyes. he found it incredible that you stood up for yourself so well. as he went to admit he loved you too, you noticed the looks on the chocolatiers' faces. fickelgruber and prodnose both looked at each other, surprised by your long-awaited outburst, but slugworth just smiled at you.
"so be it, then." he said, swinging the door open and forcing you, willy, and noodle on top of the iron bar that held the mixer in place.
"hey, chocolatiers, make sure to give this chocolate jar to the little orange man if you see him, by the way. it's owed." willy said. noodle just blankly looked at him as they looked at each other perplexed.
as the door slammed shut behind you three, you looked at willy.
"i'm so sorry." you whimpered through sniffles of sadness.
"why are you sorry, y/n? because of you and noodle, i got to share my chocolate with the world, get my dream shop, even if it was a disaster, and i found someone i love so much." he said, hugging you. as you closed your eyes tightly, you heard a siren-like noise echo throughout the chocolate chamber.
you all looked at the liquid chocolate as it slowly began to rise. with every inch it gained, it started to arise faster, and faster.
in tears, you swam over to willy, hugging him. noodle swam to you guys, too, to bid adieu. you all hugged each other as you felt willy kiss your forehead. as he did, you shuffled your head up to where his lips were now on your own. as you guys rose, the evil chocolate cartel began to talk in the elevator.
"let's try this chocolate." mr. slugworth suggested.
"what about the orange man?" mr. prodnose chimed in. fickelgruber and slugworth glared at him due to his stupid, yet true remark and scarfed down the chocolate anyway.
as they unboarded the elevator, they walked to the glass circle which allowed them to gaze into the chocolate tank.
as you guys heard footsteps, you'd thought someone had generously come to your rescues.
"we're being saved!" noodle smiled as willy took you up in his arms, ready to be set free. you smiled as you leaned your chocolate-coated head on his shoulder. but, when you saw the chocolate cartel members looking down through the glass, you all knew it wasn't a rescue. it was a tease.
you nuzzled your face onto willy's shoulder in misery as noodle snarled up, but they'd already walked away. you, willy, and noodle had practically accepted your destiny of death to drowning in cocoa. willy grabbed you tightly and pulled you to his torso, assuring you wouldn't die without a loving hug. noodle looked at you two.
"i'm so sorry, noodle." willy said.
"why are you sorry? all i wanted was to know my mom loved me. and thanks to you, i discovered that she did." she teared up as willy flashed a sympathetic smile at her.
"guys, i love you both so much." you cried. you really couldn't hold back your tears anymore.
"we love you, too, y/n. thank you for showing us how sometimes the greedy don't even want to beat the needy." willy smiled at you, then at noodle. noodle nodded her head as you all gasped for air for
