waking up, you yawned as the bright and awakening sun broke through the slits of your barely open eyes.
you noticed that you had waken up before willy, so you looked around. to your surprise, there were tons of oompa loompas working around you guys. you rubbed your eyes to assure what you were seeing was true and not some sort of mirage that your newly-awoken brain had concocted. but, it was real! numerous loompas were scampering around, some working to organize, but most munching down. you lightly shook willy's shoulder. he slowly opened his eyes, smiling at you and grabbing and kissing your hand that had previously shook him.
"no, willy. look." yoy said calmly, gesturing to the newly found employees.
"this is great!" willy immediately perked up. you smiled, your feelings allowed by willy.
you two walked around.
"so, do we... live here?" you asked, trying to gage his reaction of firstly, living together, and secondly, living in a factory.
"yes... and no." willy scratched the back of his neck as you tilted your head with confusion. willy picked up on your bafflement as he grabbed your hand, leading you up a stack of stairs.
"close your eyes. i want it to be a surprise." willy said as you cupped your hand over your eyes between giggles. the flight of stairs seemed longer without the ability of seeing what's ahead, but you trusted willy. as you felt the stairs disappear and felt a flat floor under your feet, willy ordered you to take your hand from your face, revealing a gorgeous room. a canopy bed that looked almost too good to be true laid in the center of the room with silk pillows, a fluffy blanket, and beautiful, chocolate-brown railing amongst the rims. but, that wasn't all! the room had two nightstands on each side, both carved from chocolate with candy knobs on the drawers. on one side sat a lamp and a book, the other side held a jewelry box of some sort.
at the end of the bed was a fluffy rug of an almost cotton candy texture. the floors were so polished to where you could see you and willy's reflections.
"it's got some work left to do, but here it is! our room!" willy said.
"our?" you said surprised.
"oh, it doesn't have to be! i could make myself another room." willy said, blushing. you shook your head.
"no, willy! i love it, like so much!" you grinned, hugging him. he smiled with pride as he felt so good of himself for making you a great room.
"should i show you around a little more?" you heard the door creak open, revealing lofty.
"what do you mean?" he asked.
"we've made some improvements." he looked at both of you proudly. you two exchanged semi-concerned glances, but ended up following him closely as he lead you through.
as you guys walked down the stairs, you noticed nothing new. that is, until trees begun to shoot from the ground like rockets. you and willy gazed at the trees that grew as tall as they could until they hit the glass. as willy looked up, a cacao bean fell into his palm. he cracked it open with ease and inhaled its aromas, grinning in love. you smiled at him as the loompa continued the tour. he walked to the river and just stood at the edge. you and willy exchanged perplexed looks until a gummy-looking boat strolled up, taking you both up and away. as the boat guided you through a tunnel, it went pitch black. abruptly, multicolored lights flashed on and off in patterns. you and willy looked around the surrounding tunnel, then at each other as lofty turned the wheel, leading you down the river of chocolate and into a new room. it was a blank room.
"it's really up to you guys now. we didn't do much, but it's better than nothing, right wonka?" he asked sassily. willy nodded, putting your hand delicately on your waist to pull you to his side.
"it's way better than nothing. what should we make this, y/n?"
you smiled at him.
"i know exactly what to make!"
