𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹𝒀𝑶𝑵𝑬 𝑰𝑵 the Matthews house were calming down Auggie was in the kitchen with Topanga and Amy, Riley was with Maya at the table listening to her best friend gush over her cousin, and Journey was in the living room bay window looking through the pictures she took so far
Journey was nose-deep in her camera when she felt the seat next to her dip "Uh...Hi"Joshua greeted the girl fidgeting with his fingers "Hi" She smiled
"So not to sound rude or anything but who are you?"Joshua asked tilting his head at the girl "I'm Auggie's babysitter" Journey explained biting her lip "How come I've never seen you around here then?" Joshua wondered
"Oh that's because I'm usually here on the weekends"The brown-haired girl elaborated looking at the boy with many questions "So...uh did you take any good pictures," Joshua asked changing the conversation and pointing at the girls' camera
"Oh yeah, you want to look at them?"Journey beamed happy to share her craft The Brown eyed boy nodded lightly before scooting in closer to the girl "Do you see that?" Maya asked Riley eyes focusing on Journey and Josh
"Josh looking at pictures?"Riley asked confused "He's way too close to her how is he supposed to be my husband if he's practically on top of her"Maya huffed making Riley roll her eyes "Maya he just met her" Riley Laughed shaking her head "You saw Lucas once and now your head over heels" The blonde girl pointed out
"That's because me and Lucas are soulmates"
"These are really good even the picture of you blinding me" Joshua joked lifting his head to look Journey in her eyes "Sorry about that again" Journey apologized with a sigh still embarrassed she blinded the boy "It's alright plus seeing you after I recovered made it worth it" He claimed with a soft smile his words caught off guard it was the first time a boy spoke to her like that
"Well in that case you're welcome" Journey joked smiling back at the boy the two maintained eye contact with each other for a few more seconds until she heard the door close turning her head in the direction of the sound she saw a man with a mishcevous smile
