𝑱𝑶𝑼𝑹𝑵𝑬𝒀 𝑾𝑨𝑺 on her fifth good day in a row she was on the subway on her way back from running errands when she got a world-changing email apparently after Shawn had a conversation with his boss that lasted hours she got an internship and to say Journey was happy was an understatement she wanted to jump up and down but being on a subway she tried to keep her composure
When Journey got home the first thing she did was reread her email she couldn't believe she got the internship on one of the coolest sites she'd ever seen. After spending Christmas Eve at the Matthews she spent the entirety of Christmas scrolling through the site
"Mom!" Journey screamed finally putting down her bad and taking her coat off
"You got to stop yelling my name if it isn't an emergency" Angela sighed walking into the living room "Mom I got the internship!" Journey squealed with a huge smile
"That's amazing JoJo" Angela smiled wrapping her arms around my daughter
"Yeah and guess what...They want to send me to Philadelphia with one of their Photographers to take pictures" The teen girl added smile never fading "Philly are you sure you're ready for that?" Angela asked her daughter
"I'm Fifteen I'm sure it'll be fine plus I'll have a built-in chaperone," Journey told her mom trying to calm her of any stress
"If you're ready for it that's all that matters...but I want to have a conversation with your boss before you go" Angela explained making her teen daughter scoff sarcastically
"Do you Mom"
Angela went to talk again only to be stopped by the sound of a notification and a buzz Journey looked up at her phone to see a text message from Josh. The two teens had been texting and calling each other non-stop since that first text Josh sent on Christmas morning

"Who's that," Angela asked raising an eyebrow "It's Josh" Journey spoke never looking up from her phone "'Alright I'm competing for your attention go talk to him" Angela sighed shaking her head
