"Wow," Daniel utters from his mouth at the sight of the front cover of the magazine. "Wow" was all he could say, and all anyone could say.

Dominic was also at a loss for words as well, and just gushed at the magazine, while I shielded J.J.'s eyes. Dominic finally got a word out, "Look."

It was Dad's 1930s Look magazine from what he called "a simpler time." The front cover wasn't horrible, but it was more than our Bugs Bunny eyes have ever seen. J.J. had pried away from my hands as soon as Dominic and Daniel flipped the page and then ...

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"

J.J. screamed like a banshee, and for good reason, too. It was horrible and could cause parents like ours to freak out. Dominic quickly flipped the page back and hid it under his bed. J.J. hid under the covers, Daniel and I raced to our rooms, and Mom's footsteps could be compared to Godzilla as he terrorized the city.

"Dominic!" she yelled and then waited for him to come to her. Dominic tiptoed to her slowly. He was going to face the fire-breathing dragon of truth.

She took a big breath, tried to calm down, and then spoke.

"You need to be a better role model for your younger siblings. Now, I have no idea what happened up here and why J.J. started screaming, but I do know that you and all your brothers and sisters were in my and your dad's room without permission and that everybody followed you. You have to consider that you are as much of a leader as me and your father. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes, Ma," Dominic said, dragging his voice.

"Good" Mom replied, "EVERYBODY SHOULD BE IN THERE ROOMS IN ONE MINUTE! UNDERSTAND!"

J.J. runs to his room and Dominic grudges his room picks up the magazine and then throws it on the floor and sighs.

Poor guy didn't sleep at all that night.
