"Dumb Aunt Gale's house," Daniel mumbled to himself for the fifth time.

I wasn't happy about it either. Our class was challenged to write what we were doing over the summer and turn it into our new teacher for extra credit. I had a horrible language arts grade, and although I hated writing, it was worth not hearing Mom and Dad talk about my grade. I can't start my grade-changing essay by going to an old woman's house, I thought. But there was no questioning or complaining about it, tomorrow, we're going. Whether we like it or not.

Dominic left the room, understandably. He didn't want to relive the incident that happened yesterday.

"Why are you complaining? Do you hate your family or something?" Naomi said, letting her head from Mom's phone.

"No, I don't! I just hate Aunt Gale's house!" Daniel shouts back.

Stephanie waltzes and stumbles into the room we're in.

"Why do you have Mom's high heels on?" Naomi said.

"Why are YOU on Mom's off-limits phone." Stephanie chipped back.

Naomi went back on the phone.

Stephanie walked to us with a brown paper bag and sat on the bed.

"Want some candy?" Stephanie snickers. Whenever she sounds like she's about to laugh when she's talking, she's pulling our leg. Daniel seemed to have forgotten that, so he tried to grab the bag.

"Pycsh!" Stephanie yelled as she pulled the bag away.

She sat down and bit a piece of a Snickers bar, and then put it in Daniel's face.

"Want it now?" Stephanie chuckled.

She turned the channel to The Jackson 5 on the Ed Sullivan Show and started singing the song.

"You better stop, the love you save duh duh duh duh, darling take it slow, or someday you'll be all alone!"

"You don't even know the song!" Daniel snatched it back and turned to the Lakers.

"May I have one?" J.J. pleaded. Stephanie tore a non-bitten piece of the Snickers bar and gave it to him.

"How'd you get that much money to go to the candy store anyway? Huh?!" Daniel said, so obviously trying to turn the anger somewhere else.

"None of your beeswax!" Stephanie yelled and snatched the remote back.

"It sounds like you stole it!" Naomi said.

"I didn't! And who was talking to you?!"

"Exactly" J.J. added, siding with the person who gave him Snickers.

Stephanie goes back to singing the song.

"Issac said he kissed you, duh duh duh duh duh, When Benji held your hand he left, Electricity."

Daniel threw a pillow at Stephanie. Stephanie gasp-breathed in a bit, like she always does before she yells "MOM!! or says "Ooooh! I'm telling!"

"If you throw something at me again, I'm telling Mom you're in her room!"

Daniel threw another pillow, but this time ran towards her before she started to gasp-breathe again, and started a fight.

I left the room after that.
