Chapter 6 (Guilty & Plans)

Yuichi POV

"You're going to what??" I whisper yell, in shocked
"Like I said, I'm going to turn them into humans...temporarily," Mr. Red says while sipping his coffee,
"I know what you said, but why? If this is your excuse to use them like lab rats then forget it, I'm not putting them in danger," I say, upset.
"Oh, so now you cared? You never even talk to them except for that sensitive one," Boss says, his voice is so annoying.

Let's rewind to a few hours ago, I woke up and made breakfast because Mr. Red said he couldn't come over because he needed to do some testing. After I made the breakfast, I was about to leave when Azy walked out of her room, perfect timing,

"Azy, I'm gonna go practice now, I already made breakfast for you and the others, it's on the table," I say, standing up, ready to leave. My violin case sling on my shoulders/back and my notebook and pen in hand

"You're not trying to avoid them, are you?" Azy ask, suspicious. I regret teaching her about intuitions already. She walks closer to where I'm at.
"Whaa, of course not? I'm just busy practicing for the event haha," I say, laughing nervously.
"You know, you can't avoid them forever, you have to talk to them at some point," (Azy)
"Azy, we only have like 4 days off, after that, we'll be busy role-playing in other worlds and sooner or later the trolls and Veneer will forget about us and go back to their world," I said, as if to tell me all over again that they'll be leaving, never staying. "That's one of the rules Boss told us," I look at Azy, she looks like she's about to cry.

"I...I knew that, but I hate it. I want to be with Veneer, I want to go with him. I hate this place, I hate this job, and I hate the rules, they're not fair. And it's not fair for you to defend me back then, it was my fault. You knew it, we both knew it, yet...yet...Y-you got beat up because of me *Sobs*" Azy started to cry.

I walked closer to her and hugged her, I knew it, it was still bothering her, "Shh, Azy. It's okay. It was never your fault. And I know it's unfair for you, I know how much you love Veneer. But just hang in there, okay? I'll talk to Boss-" "NO!" I flinched when she suddenly yelled, Good thing the trolls and Veneer are still sleeping, or so I thought.

"You, You can't. He'll hurt you again. I can't, I don't want you to get hurt again. So please..." Azy begs me, She tightens her grip around me. "Okay, I won't. But can I tell Mr. Red? He's like a dad figure to us, so I'm sure he'll understand," I suggest, Azy just nods. She's still sobbing,

After 30 minutes, she falls back asleep. And by then the trolls and Veneer are already awake and they look worried, especially Veneer. So much for my plan to avoid them.

I put her on the couch and covered her with a blanket, then I put the foods I made on the table for the trolls, so they can eat it easier.

"Yui, can we talk?" For a second, I thought it was Floyd, but nope. It's Branch. I was about to answer when my phone started to ring, "Uh, one sec" I said to Branch, then answered the call, 

"Hello?"
"Yui, I need you to go to Enchantment dining," Boss suddenly say
"Right now?" (Yui)
"Yes now" (Boss)

Then he hung up. Well...that was something

"Uh, sorry Branch. But I gotta go-" "If you think we're still upset at you, we're not. Just please talk to us," He cut me off
