Chapter 15 (Ending 2: Leaving)

"So have you decided yet, Yuichi?" Mr. Red asked me, a few days after he told me the glitches are all eliminated in the trolls' world

"Yea...I want to go with them, him. I-I'm sorry Mr.Red but I love him too much to leave him," I finally decided. After I said that, I thought Mr. Red would be upset, but he just smiled.

He pats my head, "I'm glad you made the right decision. Like they always say, Love makes people do crazy things," He ruffles my hair.

"You're not upset?" I ask, a tad bit confused.

He shakes his head no, "Of course not, I'm happy for you. I bet your family will be proud of you finding love too."

Suddenly he looks at me with worry, "Hey hey, why are you crying?" He asked while wiping my tears, I didn't even realize I was crying,

"Suddenly I just realized, if I go with them, I won't ever see you again, Qui, Mathew, and everyone else too." Tears kept streaming down my face, My voice kept trembling more and more. "I don't want to leave you guys, but I also want to go with Floyd. Can't I have both?" I ask, sobbing.

Two arms wrapped themselves around me, and then Mr. Red hugged me tightly while stroking my hair.
"Ssh, it's okay, everything gonna be okay. Let it all out, Kid" He comforts me

A few minutes later, my crying died down, and that's when Mr. Red started to speak, "Yui, we can't have everything in life, sometimes we have to choose. Don't worry about me, about your friends here. Don't let people choose your ending, you have to choose yourself. If you don't, you'll regret it for the rest of your life"

"Is there a way I can talk to you guys once I leave?" I ask, with a little bit of hope in me.

"Of course, you damn brat. How else does the HQ have such advanced equipment?" Mr. Red said, his voice has a hint of teasing when he called me brat.

I giggled a little

Mr. Red then adds, "Always follow your heart, okay kid?"
I nodded, and my tears started to stop.

"GROUP HUGSS!!!" I heard Azy's yell, breaking the bittersweet moment.

I pull away from the hug
"Hey, Azy" I smile at her, wiping the tears off my face

"So Yui, you're leaving too?" Azy asks, excited 

"Too? Wait, you're coming?" I ask, shocked
"YES, WE WON'T BE ALONE EVER!!" Azy yelled, excited. While hugging me tightly

Welp, guess Azy is coming along too, 

Azy and I decide to tell the news to the trolls later after lunch. Mr. Red said he couldn't come cause he needed to prepare the portal, but before he left, he said one thing, "First thing tomorrow morning, come to the Waiting room. The higher-ups wanted to see you before you go," 

That's all he said before he left. And that left me nervous.

Timeskip (After lunch)

"Everyone, If I may have your attention please?" I ask, standing in the living room as everyone sits on the couch

"Mr. Red has just told me that your world is now free of the Glitches, and he's preparing the portal to your world. You guys can go back tomorrow," I said.

The others start to cheer, 

"Wait!" Floyd's voice interjected, and that made everyone stop. "What about Yui and Azy?" Veneer ask,

"Yeah, will you come too?" Floyd asks looking at me, his voice has a tint of desperation in it. As if begging for me to come with him

Azy and I kept quiet, building the tension. Until Azy couldn't hold it in anymore, "WE'RE COMING TOO!!" She screamed, and that made the others cheered.
