It's the first day of work after a week's vacation, tonight is the day me and my band perform. As usual, I smelled Mr. Red's Famous Pancake. Quickly and quietly, I slip out of Floyd's hug and run straight into the kitchen. To my surprise, I'm the only one in the kitchen, aside from Mr. Red.
"Good morning, Mr. Red." I greet him, getting to my seat. "Morning, Yui," Mr. Red said smiling, plating the pancakes before me and patting my head.
I was about to eat the pancakes when Mr. Red suddenly talked,
"What did he say to you, yesterday?" He asks, his voice is stern, indicating this is serious. "Who?" I ask, pretending to be oblivious. "You know who," He said, his voice is still stern
"*Sigh* Azy told you, didn't she?" "Of course. Azy said and I quote "Loverboy immediately asked me, his face full of worry and concern for Yui" She said it like that, every word," Mr. Red said while continuing to cook more pancakes for the others, "Axel knew about my ears, and he told me that my family was probably ashamed of having a monster as a daughter," I mumbled, picking on my pancakes.
I didn't know Mr. Red's expression since his back was to me, but I saw him clenching his fist. And his other hand, which was holding the panhandle, made a dent in the handle—bending it.
"Mr. Red. You're breaking the panhandle," I called out, snapping him out of his, possible murder-plan trance, (ᇂ_ᇂ |||)
"Oops, sorry," And that's all he said. After he finished cooking, he left in a hurry. Just as the others come into the kitchen. Floyd being the last, looked panicked.
When he see me, he look relieved. And then instantly hugged me, "Gah, Good morning, Floyd," I said, surprised at the sudden hug.
"Good morning, Sunshine," Floyd says, nuzzling his face to my shoulder.
"Get a room, lovebirds," JD grumbled.
Timeskip (At Qui's dorm)
We were supposed to meet up with Ms. Karla in her workshop. But no surprise, that Qui was late...But for some reason Mathew is also late, which was unlikely of him.
*BANG*
"SQUARE VAN TRAPEZE, GET YOUR BUTT UP-" I start yelling, accidentally waking up almost all Qui's ginger cats except for the one beside them, who was already awake, but I stop myself when I saw the scene in front of me.
