“That was amazing, and when I say amazing, I mean amazing.” Elise giggled as the girls made their way down to a walk after running off the stage, huge smiles plastered across their faces. Payton giggled with Elise and nodded, turning to face her and grip her shoulders.
“I know, I love French people.” Payton responded, making Elise laugh and nod in agreement. Cameron came up behind the two and draped her arms across their shoulders, exhaling noisily.
“That was great, wasn’t it?” Cameron said, smiling broadly at the two before Monica came up beside Payton.
“I agree, I still can’t believe this is my job.” Monica added, smiling at the ground as the four girls made their way to their dressing room.
“Yeah, when I was your age, my job was seating people at an old restaurant back in my home town.” Elise replied, looking past Payton to raise her eyebrows at Monica who smiled and followed Payton into their room.
Cameron plopped onto the red leather couch and sighed, placing her head against the arm rest, staring at the ceiling.
“I can’t believe we get to do that all over again tomorrow night.” Cameron said, stifling a yawn, covering her mouth with her hand. Payton nodded in agreement and placed her hand over her own mouth as she yawned as well.
Andy stormed into the room, a large smile spread across his face and he practically skipped around the room, chuckling and grabbing the girls in quick, tight hugs. Payton looked over at Monica slowly who cocked an eyebrow, probably just as confused as Payton was. Elise let out a small laugh before clearing her throat, gripping Andy’s shoulders.
“Why are you so happy, you’re never happy.” Elise said, slowly. Andy let out a long sigh and slightly shook his head.
“I’m just so proud of you girls, that was your best show by far.” he responded, looking around the room at each of them. Payton felt a smile pull at the corners of her lips and she looked down at her hands that were folded in her lap, Harry’s airplane necklace catching her eye.
“That was so much more fun than some of the other shows we’ve done.” Cameron sighed as she made her way over to the half eaten fruit tray that sat beside the make-up table. She popped half a strawberry in her mouth before quickly licking her two finger tips as she glanced up at Andy who nodded in agreement.
“Well I’ll leave you girls to get changed and stuff, great show ladies.” he replied, giving them an enthusiastic thumbs up. The girls all let out small laughs and slightly shook their heads, standing up from their places to undress and put on comfy clothes.
A knock on the door startled the girls and they quickly threw on their clothes before opening the door to see Harry, Niall and Liam standing there.
“Might I say that was an amazing show.” Niall said, strolling into the dressing room with Harry and Liam following behind him. Payton beamed and made her way across the room to Harry who stood facing her, a cheeky grin plastered on his face as he held out his arms for a hug. Payton willingly walked into his open arms, wrapping hers around his neck, burying her face in his shoulder.
“You were great, love.” Harry murmured, his lips ticking her ear. Payton smiled into his shirt and turned her head to look up at him, planting a kiss just above his collar bone.
“Thanks, glad you thought so.” she responded, glancing from his lips back up to his eyes before he caught on and kissed her gently.
“Oh get a room you two.” Liam moaned, a smirk plastered on his face. Payton turned to see everyones eyes on the two of them and mock-rolled her eyes, spinning back around to face Harry. He smiled down at her before tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear, kissing her again.
