Harry and Payton

Chapter 7

   “Wait a minute, let me get this straight, you and Harry are finally dating?” Andy asked, staring at Payton who rolled her eyes, annoyed and turned to face him.

   “Yes, Andy, Harry and I are dating.” Payton responded, tossing a shirt into her suitcase as she turned around. Andy rushed over to her and laughed, hugging her tightly. Payton gasped in surprise, and laughed at his excitement.

   “Oh, this is just great kid, really, it is. I mean, once you tell everyone you guys are dating its going to be insane and we’ll get biiiig publicity, and I mean big.” Andy said, rambling on as Payton looked over at Elise, who smirked and slightly shook her head. Payton turned to look at Andy who walked happily out of the room, his phone pressed to his ear.

   “Now he’s going to set up an interview here and I’m going to have to tell everyone I’m dating him, just wait.” Payton said, closing her suitcase before jumping on the bed beside Elise. 

   “And you two are going to live happily ever after,” Elise said, taking a breath. “Amen.” she added, chuckling. Payton smirked and looked up as Harry knocked on the open door.

   “Knock, knock.” he called, smiling at her. Payton beamed at him, getting up to greet him with a kiss. He took her hand and plopped onto the bed beside her, looking over at Elise as he waved. Elise grinned and waved back, continuing to organise her suitcase.

   “What’re you up to, love?” he asked, rubbing Payton’s back. She shook her head slightly, looking over at him with a smile.

   “Whatever you’re up to.” Payton replied with a giggle. Harry nodded and fell onto his back, sighing as he rubbed his eyes. Payton grinned and laid beside him, resting her head on his chest, listening to the sound of his steady heart beat. 

   “Alright, Payton, I just arranged a TV interview for you four—” Andy stopped as he looked over at the two, cuddling on the bed. Payton mock-rolled her eyes and sat up, gesturing to Harry.

   “Andy this is—”

   “I know who he is, hello, Harry.” Andy said, looking down at him. Harry gave a small wave as he smiled at Andy.

   “'Ello.” Harry replied in a cheery tone, making Payton smile.

   “Like I was saying, you guys have an interview tomorrow afternoon and you will announce that you and Harry are dating, got it?” Andy instructed, raising his eyebrows at Payton, who nodded and teasingly saluted him with two fingers. Andy nodded once, before walking back out of the room to find Monica and Cameron.

   “I’m going to go find Monica and Cameron, see you two later.” Elise giggled. Payton waved at her and watched her walk out the door, closing it behind her. Harry took Payton’s wrist in his and pulled her on top of him, smirking. 

   “You going to tell everyone how wonderful I am?” Harry said, cheekily. Payton mock-rolled her eyes and hopped off of him, walking over to the mini fridge to grab a Coke. 

   “Oh, defiantly,” she chuckled, raising her eyebrows at him. Harry smirked and walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist. “You should come.” Payton suggested, poking his chest as she set her drink down to press her cold finger tips to the back of his neck. He flinched, ducking his head under to burry it in Payton’s shoulder. She laughed and kissed the top of his head, playing with the curls on the back of his head. 

   “So I can tell everyone how wonderful you are?” Harry replied, a smile pulling at the corners of his lips. Payton nodded and quickly kissed his cheek before he lifted his head up to gaze at her.
