“One more time, girls!” Andy called from the side of the stage as the four girls went over choreography for their first show in London. Payton moaned and they quickly went through the steps, making small changes before Andy gave them a break. Payton plopped onto the floor and moaned, her arms flying out beside her.
“Get up, love. We’re going out for lunch.” a familiar Irish boy chuckled from above her. Payton’s eyes flew open to see Niall smiling at her. She scrambled to her feet to grab him in a hug and laughed.
“I only have five minutes though.” she responded. Niall shrugged and pulled a large brown bag from behind him, giving it a small shake.
“I brought lunch to you.” he chuckled, raising his perfect eyebrows at her. She grinned and willingly took the bag from him, peering inside to see large white Styrofoam boxes piled neatly one on top of the other.
“Hmm, I wonder whats inside.” Payton teased, playfully hitting his arm. He laughed with her before jerking his head towards the back of the stage. Payton followed him out of the building and hopped into his car, her stomach growling.
“Someone’s hungry.” Niall chuckled, watching her paw through the bag. She let out a small laugh and pulled out one of the containers.
“You have no idea, Andy’s been making us rehearse for five hours, he wants our first show to be perfect.” Payton sighed, digging into the delicious food. Niall took the bag from her and pulled out his own container, munching on the food.
“That sucks, he doesn’t seem to let you guys have much fun with it either.” Niall said, looking over at her for an answer. Payton looked at him with wide eyes and quickly shook her head.
“I wish, Andy’s so uptight its not even funny.” Payton moaned. Niall nodded slowly, inhaling the food.
“He just needs to be shown how to have a good time.” Niall chuckled. Payton nodded in agreement.
“Tell me about it,” she muttered. “So what made you decide to bring me lunch?” Payton asked, raising her eyebrows at him as she smirked.
“Well, I hadn’t seen you in a while and Harry told me you guys were in town so I figured, why the hell not?” he responded, grinning. Payton giggled and gently patted his cheek, continuing to munch on her food.
“How’s things with Lauren?” Payton enquired, slowly looking up at him. Noticing how his expression changed from just hearing her name. He slowly looked over at her with a dazed look and gave her a goofy grin.
“She’s amazing.” he replied, letting out a small giggle. Payton ‘awed’ and gently hit his arm.
“I'd better meet this girl soon.” Payton said, placing her empty container in the brown bag again. Niall nodded and pulled out another one, placing it inbetween them to share.
“Don’t worry, you will.” he responded, giving her a small grin.
The two talked for what felt like hours before Payton was called back in to start practicing again. Payton gave Niall a quick hug and waved as he pulled away from the building and back to the flat. Payton walked onto the stage along with Elise and Monica and took in a deep breath, looking over at the girls.
“Andy’s taking this way to seriously.” Monica muttered, looking over at him as he argued with the lighting people. Payton rolled her eyes at him and slightly shook her head, placing a hand on Monica’s shoulder.
“He just needs to be shown how to have a good time.” Payton giggled, giving the girls a small smile. They nodded quickly in agreement as Cameron walked over to join in the conversation.
