Present Wizarding world

War changed people.

It has been 7 years since the Battle of Hogwarts and there were serious changes made in how the wizarding world works. Firstly people have gradually decreased their hate towards muggle born wizards but still there were people who follow the old practice. There are laws created to protect the interest of all magical creatures, especially the minorities. The head of ministries are now chosen by the people and not on the basis of their influence over the wizarding world. There are several new departments made to focus on innovation, prevention of magical beings and improving relations with muggles.

The Golden Trio

The Golden Boy, the boy who lived, the boy who won the battle, he became an Auror as he aspired his whole life. He had pretty simple life after the the war but the paparazzi of the wizarding world thought otherwise. They kept a trail on what golden boy was doing and what were his whereabouts. This made his life as an auror little difficult, but golden boy had his way around paparazzi now.

He is also married to love of his life Ginny Weasley. She stood with him in every step of the way and also has beautiful career of her own. She is working as regional head for Department of Law Enforcement. The couple is parent of two children now, one is their godson Teddy Lupin and other is their firstborn James Sirius Potter. Harry and Ginny have a happy ever after life together with the kids. They get invited in every important social gathering or event in the wizarding world.

The second member of Golden trio Mr. Ron Weasley. He got inclined towards playing Quidditch in last year of Hogwarts and became a successful quidditch player for Holyhead Harpies. He also help in managing the The Weasley Wizarding Wheezes with George Weasley. Given his popularity every other item is sold out just days after its release. The Weasleys have generated enough wealth to live a comfortable life, all thanks to Ron's popularity and George's genius mind. 

And Lastly to the brightest witch of the generation, Miss Hermione Granger. She works for the Ministry of Magic in the Department for New Spell and Magical Creatures which is a new department added for instigate innovation in the wizarding world. Also she is the head of Committee for Muggle welfare. This Committee deals with muggle who know about the wizarding world and protect their rights from the people in the wizarding world. She grew up to be typical uptight women as it was expected from her. She only lives for her work at Ministry of Magic and she cannot think of anything else. Another "bonus" to her life is that she has not dated anyone but Ron. She is practically married to her work in real life and to Ron in her mind.

What happened to Ron and Hermione?

Hermione and Ron had wonderful time together in last two years of Hogwarts after the battle but things started to change when Ron got offer from Holyhead Harpies and the fame he started to receive as a quidditch player. He could not commit himself to Hermione and broke up with her. Since then he has been dating famous models and socialite of the wizarding world. On the other hand Hermione is still in love with him as she knows Ron dating the models is not permanent and one day he will come to his senses and marry her.

Ron is currently dating Zoey Sullivan. She is the daughter of Head Minister of Ministry of Magic Mr. Schimt Sullivan. She is also a famous socialite and influencer in wizarding world. Zoey could also feel the love in Hermione's eyes towards Ron but she chose to ignore it as half of the women in wizarding world were drooling over him.

Hermione is highly unaware of the fact that her life is about to go through a rollercoaster of events.

I have dedicated one full chapter about the present situation in the wizarding world as per my imagination. This will lay background to my story. Please read the next chapter for the actual start of the story.
