The morning sun had peeked through the curtains, casting a warm glow in the room I was staying in Jun's house. I awoke from my sleep, blinking away the last bit of dreams I had as reality settled in. I glanced around, a little disoriented before the memories of the previous day flooded back.
Getting out of bed, I went through my morning routine. The events of the past few days lingered in my mind, which gave me a lot of emotions. Despite everything, I felt like I was determined to face the day ahead this time, starting anew.
Downstairs, the smell of breakfast waved through the air as everyone was gathered in the kitchen. Wonwoo, focused on cooking, looked up and smiled when he saw Y/N.
"Good morning," he greeted, flipping a pancake like an expert.
"Morning, Wonwoo," I replied, attempting to match his tone.
The others chatted and laughed. "So, you coming to the final game today? Don' tell me you aren't..." Joshua said with a pouty face.
"Of course I am, wouldn't miss it for the world guys," I smiled brightly.
"Good, now you can see how much better I am than everyone else," Jeonghan said with a smirk.
"At least you get to play today..." said Vernon, referring to the fact he has to sit on the bench.
"Cheer up dude, maybe, if you didn't get mad at coach last game, you and Dino wouldn't have switched..." DK said laughing.
"Hey!" Dino jokingly got angry and cutely scrunched his nose.
"I have a great feeling about today, I think we can finally wrap up our progress and go out with a bang," Woozi said confidently.
"All this basketball talk is making my head hurt, you guys are such men," I said rolling my eyes.
"You wouldn't know..." Minghao teased.
After breakfast, Jun suggested we all go out for a workout before the game later. We all agreed, hoping to have fun but also get in shape.
Hoshi, trying to lead some warm-up exercises, couldn't resist showing off his flexibility. "Watch and learn, peasants!" he declared, executing a flawless split that left everyone in shock.
DK, never one to miss an opportunity for humor, chimed in, "Hoshi, if we knew you were this flexible, we would've recruited you as our cheerleader..."
Hoshi shot him a mock glare. "Excuse me, I'm way too talented to be just a cheerleader. I'm the MVP in every category!"
Seunkwan, not too keen on physical activities, decided to observe from a bench. "I'll just sit here and do a workout symphony for you guys. You'll thank me later."
Jeonghan, looking effortlessly cool even in a sweaty tank-top and shorts, winked at Y/N. "Hey, Y/N, need a workout partner? I promise not to show off too much," he teased, flexing his biceps playfully.
"Jeonghan, you can't just flex your way out of every situation," I said, rolling my eyes.
Dino decided to join the banter. "Hey, Y/N, want me to be your personal trainer? I'll make sure you break a sweat."
I laughed, "Dino, I think I can handle it. But thanks for the offer."
As the workout continued, Mingyu, attempting a push-up, started struggling. DK, not missing a beat, shouted, "Someone call 911, Mingyu's stuck in a push-up position!"
Minghao practiced his dance moves, turning the workout into a dance party. "Who needs traditional exercises when you can dance your way to fitness?" he laughed.
