When I got home i wasnt feeling good so Isaac and i just kayed in his bed cuddling
After a few hours i felt better
" We should get ready for Thanksgiving" I whispered
Isaac nodded slightly as he untangled himself from me " I love you" He said and kissed me on the forehead. I went and got my outfit. Black jeans a dark bkue top and ab oversized hoodie.
I walked bacj into the room Isaac dressed. He frowned at my outfit.
" It would look better in my baseball jacket" He said while grabbing a blue and white one and throwing ut at me i took my hoddie off cautious as it revealed my scars. I glaced at Isaac who knew so he looked away. I slipped into his jacket.
He turned and looked " Much better"
I smiled.
" Everyone, guys come downstairs" George yelled from below
Isaac grabbed my hand walked down the stairs.
" We need all of you to be bavk by 2 for Thanksgiving" He said
The smile on my face disappeared. realized this was the first holiday I will go through without my parents.
" Uh i have to deliver meals " Jackie stuttered thinking the same as me " so um if im not back dont wiat for me cause i can just scrap leftovers when i get home" And walked off
Katherine looked defeated ans George threw his towel on the island.
I looked around and saw Lee in a tie. Isaac saw me looking " Oh yeah we have a phone call with out dad later" His voice breaking.
I held his hand tighter. " I told you about me now you have to tell me about you"
" Our dad used to ditch us every phone call and Lee still has so much hope hut im guessing hes gunna air us again" He frowned
" Have hope Isaac" I said quietly fixing his hair with my finger
Tears welled up in his eyes " I stopped caring a while a go"
I kissed him on the forehead and hugged him unsure of what to say.
" What time is it?" Isaac asked suddenly after we were cuddling for agess
I looked at my watch "12:55 "
" Oh shit" He said standing up " It starts at 1, uh you wanna meet my dad with me?"
I nodddd " Would Lee mind?"
He shrugged as he went into Geoges office. Lee was sitting there. He smiled at me as he frowned at Isaac " Thats ahat you're wearing?"
" dad doesnt care what we wear" Isaac said rather harshly
" Whatever Im gunna start it" Lee said
" Lee... do you mind me being here?" I asked
He shook his head " You're basically a Garcia anyways"
I smiled
After 10 minutes and no response Issac said " Bro Lee he's not Coming."
" There coukd be many reasons to why he's running late " Lee retorted staring into the screen
" Okay well we're gunna miss the second half" Isaac said insensitivity
" Who cares about football right now' Lee yelled " Its thanksgiving and dad promised he would at least-" His voice broke
Isaac smirked amd walked over to the computer and turned it off.
" Isaac" I Screamed
Lee was about to cry he pushed Isaac agaist the wall and stormed out
" Bro what the-" Isaac said
I shor him a why did you do that look and went after Lee. He walked ro the kitchen
" How'd it go" Katherine asked
Lee just opened the fridge door. I peeked in and
" Uncle Richard?" I yelled
" Oh My goodness zoe!" He screamed as we ran and hugged eachother.
We were interrupted by Parker yelling " Mum he's drinking alcohol!"
" Woah woah woah" George said
Lee was pouring wine into a cup.
" What we're allowed wine on special occasio-" He said confused
" No-" George said
" Speaking fo Alcohol i heared Jackie got drunk at a party and-" Uncle richard said.
Parker and I screamed jn unison " Jackie got drunk?" I gave her a fist bump as George said " Eveyone under the age of 35 out the kitchen, You , you ,you ,you and you
Eveyone busted out the kitchen. I went looking for Isaac but was interrupted by jackie walking throigh the door with another girl.
" Jackss" I yelled and ran and hug her " Guess who's here"
" Uncle Richard I know!" She said "Zoe this is Erin my friend. Erin this is Zoe my sister.
Erin was really pretty ," Hey nice to meet you" She said sweetly
" Same to you" I said
Isaac came over and wrapped his amr around me " Hey"
I turned around " Come meet my Uncle"
He quickly straightened his shirt and stood taller.
" Uncle Richard" I called " This is Isaac, My boyfriend"
He looksd surprised but shook his hand.
" Nice to meet you sir" Isaac said, not in his usual voice
I laughed.
" Richards okay" he said" Nice to mee you Isaac"
Isaac gave him his silly grin.
" Zoe, Jackie can i talk to you for a sec?" He asked
" Sure" Said Jackie as i nodded.
Isaac kissed me on the cheek and mouthed see you in a bit
I nodded as I followed Uncle Richard
