Picking up 5 boxes I struggled up the stairs. I was about to fall as a voice came behind me catching me as i fell, "Woah, careful, we dont need a gorgeous girl to be falling off the stairs today"
My heart thumped as he put me down. I Spun around amd of course it was.. Issac Garcia. He was just standing there with his silly smile, beaming at me.
"Thank you." I muttered embarrassed.
Did he just call me a gorgeous?
"Well come on" He said like nothing just happened as he picked up the 5 boxes with ease and lept up the stairs "Catch me if you can" he shouted.
"HEY" I hollered "be careful with that" I screamed playfully chasing him up the stairs.
As we reached our room he placed the boxes down and said," You need help unpacking?"
I threw myself on the bed, catching my breath " Yeah, please."
He laughed as he started opening the first bo revealing a board that looked like the one he had." Hey thats cool lets hang it next to mine"
His smile drifted off his face as he pointed to my ex's picture," So.. uh whis that?"
"uh" I stuttered
"That's my ex who cheated on me with my so called best friend" I said while ripping his picture off the board.
I started unpacking the box and found the penguin ceramic i painted with my mum a few years back. As I struggled to reach for the high shelf of the cupboard. Issac came behind me "Hey dont hurt yourself" He placed his hand softly on my waist delicately and took the penguin out my hands and with ease put it on the top shelf.
I muttered a quick thank you and walked back to the box to keep unpacking. I was so flustered I didnt realise Issacs arm was still firmly around my waist as I gaced up at him he smiled. We locked eyes and butterflies flew around in my stomsch, my heart was pounding and he was about to say something but..
"DINNER TIME" The door bursted open as Lee rode into the room. "Oh damn" he Smirked while looking at Issacs hand placement "Someones making a move" as i could hear Issac muttering, "you had to ruin it Lee" in the background
Issac let go of my waist as I longed for his touch again. He looked at me and smiled comfortingly and turned around and shouted"SHUT UP LEE" while throwing a pillow at him but he didnt look mad he looked... happy?
I grinned as Issac threw another pillow at Lee.
"Well come on Katherines gunna kill us all if we dont go now" Lee urged in pain.
"Last one to the table is a rotten egg" Issac taunted while running down the stairs
"Get back here" I giggled while chasing him with Lee right behind me.
