Chaeyoung's POV
My father's lawyer fetched me from school because he's starting to train me to be responsible for my parents' company.
When I was done with my work, I went out to the convenience store to grab myself something sweet to regain my energy.
When I was on my way back to the company, a bunch of guys surrounded me and since it was dark already, I didn't recognize their faces.
"Chaeyoung!" I heard a familiar voice shouted from a distance.
I looked at that person and saw Sharon running towards me.
The men suddenly attacked her and she fought with them making them pass out in just a few seconds.
"Let's go..." She said and pulled me away from the area.
"Thank you..." I said when we stopped in front of my father's company building.
She nodded and looked around like she sensed danger.
"Get inside..." She said.
"How did you know this is where I'm going?" I asked.
"I'm your father's business partner..." She said.
"So... You really are a businesswoman." I said.
She nodded and dragged me inside the lobby while she looked outside.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Nothing..." She said and her eyes widened.
"Sharon?" I looked at her.
"Get down!" She said and pushed me to the side when we heard gunshots and glasses shattering.
All of the staff in the building hid and Sharon just hugged me tight at the corner until the shooting stopped.
The cops came just a few moments later and Sharon was nowhere to be found after I gave my statement to the police.
The next day, Sharon didn't come to school. It's a bit suspicious, and I want to know more about her.
After a week, she came back to school and she's still the expressionless person we all know.
"Hey... Thank you about last time..." I said.
She nodded and continued playing on her phone.
I saw Tzuyu look at us but averted her eyes when I looked at her.
I think these two had things to talk about.
"Chaeyoung, let's take a walk..." Tzuyu said.
I nodded and followed her to the hall.
"Tzu..." I said and walked next to her.
"You and Sharon saw each other?" She asked.
"Yeah... Last week... She saved me from the shootings at the company last week..." I said.
"Oh... Are you okay now?" She asked.
"Yeah... I'm alright..." I said.
"How did you and Sharon meet outside the campus?" She asked.
"I don't know... But when there were men surrounding me, she was there... She said she just finished a business meeting." I said.
She nodded and looked at Sana who was walking towards us together with the four rich girls that are considered untouchable at school.
How did Sana become friends with them? It's weird...
"Are you still jealous of me and Sana?" Tzuyu asked.
"A bit... But I know you two make a great couple..." I said.
"Hmm... Do you like Sharon?" She asked.
"What are you talking about?" I asked and laughed.
"Whenever I look at you... You're always looking at Sharon... Do you like her?" She asked.
"No... I was just curious about her cold personality..." I said.
"She's not cold... She's just distant." She said.
"Do you miss her?" I asked.
"The old her... Not who she is now..." She said.
"Did she change?" I asked.
"She did... A lot..." She answered.
"Babe, let's go..." Sana said as she hugged Tzuyu from behind.
Tzuyu smiled and looked at me.
"I'll go ahead." I said and left them.
I went back in the classroom and just a few minutes later, our teacher announced that classes in the afternoon were cancelled again for a faculty meeting.
