Mina's POV
I went inside Chaeyoung's house as stealthy as I could and when I got into every room, there was no one in the house.
I then noticed a secret door along the hallway and when I entered the room, I saw Chaeyoung sitting there already tied up and unconscious.
A man then pushed me inside the room and made me inhale something, but I'm used to these kinds of ambushes, so I didn't pass out, I just acted like I passed out.
"I know you're acting... Sleep sweetheart." The man said and injected something in me making me pass out.
When I woke up, I saw Chaeyoung crying next to me and we were both tied up.
"Sharon..." Chaeyoung whispered and I moved closer to her trying to untie her.
We both heard the door opened and I moved away to not be suspicious.
"I was right... You were told to keep the daughter safe." A woman said.
When I saw her face, I didn't doubt why she was doing this.
It's Mrs. Minatozaki, and I know she's here for revenge for her husband's death.
"Not bad, Ms. Myoi... But I'm better than you." The woman said.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"I want my daughter back... And your life... And that girl's life... Because of you, my husband died..." She said.
"Then kill me... Let the girl go." I said.
"No... Her parents have to pay for their sins." She said.
I was expecting her to shoot me, but she only left us there.
"Who are you?" Chaeyoung suddenly asked.
"I don't have time to explain, let's get out of here." I said and untied her as fast as I could and she also untied me.
When we were about to leave, the men suddenly came inside and tied us up again.
"Fuck this!" I whispered but loud enough for Chaeyoung to hear it.
