Chapter 23: A Crush

I came walking out of the bus pulling on Andy's leather jacket because it was cold. He would miss it but oh well. I inhaled the scent it smelled so good just like him. I shoved my hands in my pockets coming down the steps and was greeted by Rykers smiling face.

"You couldn't have waited like ten minutes?" I asked.

Ryker chuckled.

"Is that all Andy needs ten minutes?"

I scuffed and shoved her with my shoulder. And we started to walk around the venue.and since it was so early we were going to go for breakfast. We walked past a bunch of tour busses and on the inside I was going insane. Man I was really loving warped tour. I was inches away from my favorite pants. I cast a wave at the guys from Pierce The Veil and they waved and whistles at us and we laughed.

"So tell me what's going on with your mom and the whole mental thing?"

I stopped for a second.

"Nice choice of words Ryker" I said.

Ryker looked at me and moved her black and red hair away from her eyes a strand hooking to her piercing for a second. She fixed it and sighed.

"Sorry."

"No it's okay. Um nothing because Im going to ignore it. My mother is an adult and she can make her own decisions. And she's probably on her meds so..." my voice trailed off because I wasn't sure what to say.

"Well I mean come on Rhy she is your mom. You can't ignore stuff like that it always comes back. I would know" she explained.

I stopped in a hault and she kept walking but stopped when she realized I wasn't following. She turned back to me confused.

"What?"

I shook my head.

"You sound like Andy" I told her catching up.

That was creepy Andy pretty much said the exact same thing. Ryker chuckled pulling out her phone just as I did. No text from Andy, he was probably busy.

"Well I'd hate to sound like your boyfriend"

"Boyfriend?" I asked.

Ryker chuckled and looked at me.

"Well isn't he? I mean come on. You talk, kiss, sleep in the same bed. You haven't had sex yet but-"

"Actually we have" I blurted out.

Ryker stopped grabbing my arm.

"What?!"

I motioned for her to shut up and keep her voice down.

"Yes. It just sort of happened we were talking and then.."

Ryker smiled and finished.

'Then you were fucking" she giggled.

My face turned red. I wasn't sure who was more excited that I slept with Andy. Me or her ha ha.

"Yeah basically. Are we going to eat? I'm hungry."

She hooked her arm in mine and we started to walk faster.

Rkyer and I sat down at a close by diner and had breakfast laughing about stupid stuff. Ryker talked about Ronnie and I talked about Andy. We steered clear of any stressful stuff and just enjoyed our time. It was nice to hang out with someone and actaully talk to them. Ryker didn't judge me and I extended the same curtisy to her. She had been through hell and back. And she was strong and for that I admired her. I could honestly say she was my best friend. I had never had a best friend and my mom definitely was not one to me. I smiled and we kept eating just talking.
