Awik's POV

"Can you stop making so much noise? It's disturbing me." My head was buried in my phone when her aggravating voice blessed my ears, yet again, and I raised my head in her direction.

"What? I didn't even spit out a word from the past ten minutes." I forward my hand to her, gesturing at my watch to see the time.

"You are breathing too loudly." Her eyes flickered at my watch for a second and again settled on my face.

At this point I am convinced that my sole presence is enough to make her angry, I don't even have to make any extra efforts from my side. "Are you mad? Do you want me to breathe through my ears now, is that how you do it?" I asked.

"Breathe like a normal human maybe?" She replied with a shrug.

"Am I breathing like a vacuum cleaner?" I cross-questioned, pointing the fingers at myself.

"Much worse."

"Oh, like you? Sorry, then it must've hurt your ears really bad." I said in a sarcastic voice laced with fake concern.

She was about to respond when I interrupted "It's okay, darling, my ears start to bleed every single time I hear your voice, but you don't have to apologize for that. It's not your fault that you are blessed with the voice of a dying hyena." I gave her a gentle pat on the shoulders in a pretentious effort to comfort her.

"Dying hyena?" she scrunched her face.

"Wait, I'll show you what it sounds like." Unlocking my phone, I tapped on the YouTube icon to search for relevant audio.

What do I type though? "Dying hyena sound"?

Unfortunately, I couldn't get any output for 'Dying hyena' which made my face turn into a scowl. I again tried my luck by typing 'hyena' and got favourable results. After rummaging through several videos, I finally clicked on one that caught my attention.

I noticed her, cautiously shifting her chair a little closer and peering at my phone screen intently "Patience is the key to the hyena sound." I lifted my gaze at her and said in a teasing manner.

"Shut up, I'm not one to fancy having to waste my time listening to your nonsensical and barely logical talks." She said with a pout, looking like a kid who just got caught while doing a mischief.

"You are the only one who is having a round table conference with me over my 'breathing sound' for the past five minutes." I mocked her.

"Look the video started. Here, listen." A weird and screeching sound buzzed from the phone and I forwarded it to her with a chuckle.

"Awik, band karo ise. You are not a kid to do that" She smacked my hands away and pulled her chair away, to a response of which I shifted my chair more closely to hers. (Awik, stop it.)

Nope. You can't escape just like that.

"Are it's a matter of few minutes, at least listen to it once." Laughingly I said, while I leaned forward towards her chair and shoved the phone in her direction and she grabbed my arms and used her full force to push me away while plunging some beautiful words at me.
