You didn't mean to keep Choso waiting - but as soon as Kaori came out, you ended up having a pretty good conversation with her. When you checked the time, an hour had passed.. You glanced over at Choso and noticed his disapproval, his usual emotionless gaze was now replaced by one of a scowl.

Sighing, you stood up from your seat giving Kaori a weak smile, "Sorry, Kaori.. We need to go, he's been having some back pains so I-'' you were interrupted by the grating of Chosos chair against the floor along with a hum "We're going now." He said sternly, grabbing your hand and pulling you out of the Cafe.

"Choso - I didn't get to say goodbye.." His grip on your hand was tight, as if he was afraid you'd run off "And must you be so rough?" He glanced back at you before softening his grip.

"I waited an hour for you.. Do you really expect me to be patient?" He sounded irritated - but you didn't know why, he could have left without you..

"You didn't have to wait for me.. If it was bothering you that much you should have just left." You sighed, your words made him stop in his tracks and turn back towards you.. He looked different, he looked mad? You've never seen him so annoyed with you, well, up until now.

"Why did you even invite me? You barely even talked to me, you were all up on your friend." (You were too oblivious to notice how very jealous he was..)

"What? Choso, you can't be serious.. You said it was fine if I invited my friend and you were the one who was just awkwardly sitting there.. Why are you so mad? I wasn't 'all up' on anyone!"

"Tsk, this was clearly a mistake, you're seriously dense." He let go of your hand and started off, he muttered something underneath his breath, but from this distance you couldn't make out what he said.

You sighed and headed back towards the cafe to meet up with Kaori, 'he's acting like a child, he's the one who said I could invite her anyways - god he was practically begging me to invite her,' Your thoughts were interrupted by Kaori however: "Hey? Where'd he go?", you didn't want to tell her, you knew what her reaction would be to his outburst "We got in a fight, nothing too serious, you can take me home right?" Kaori nodded and you both started towards the parking lot.

You didn't take the argument between you and Choso very seriously - and to be honest, you didn't think he would either. It had been a week at this point and still no word from Choso, no text, no calls, nothing. The truth was - you missed him. And when you realized the silent treatment you were receiving from him was because of the argument, you couldn't help but feel guilty. You didn't want to swallow your pride and text him first - you thought it would make you look desperate, but hell.. You missed him.

It was no surprise that once you typed out the message you made your roommate press send - you were too nervous and embarrassed to do it on your own.

"Hey, can we talk?"

Thoughts raced through your mind - read? Maybe he was just thinking of a response, or maybe he was just busy and he accidentally opened the text.. Ten minutes passed.. Then twenty.. He can't be serious right? This can't be the end?

Choso -

Watching the message flash on his screen, his eyes lit up - though he'd never admit that to you, or anyone else. He wanted to act unbothered - make you feel guilty, make you realize that if you didn't 'get it together' you'd lose him. He wanted to act like he didn't need you, but fuck.. It was killing him being away from you, not talking to you was tearing at his insides.

He had to keep you on your toes right? He didn't want to look desperate, so he waited. Ten minutes, twenty, thirty, an hour. He had it all planned out - he was going to wait two hours to respond, but it was eating away at him.. He couldn't hold this facade anymore.

"Yeah. Let's talk."

Though - you were just as petty as him, waiting an hour and a half to respond.

"I'm sorry."
