Chapter 3

Sera's pov

"Good morning sweetie! How's your sleep?" mom asked as she saw me in the living room.

"Good. What time did you got home last night mom?"

"Wait... I think... it's past 3 o'clock in the morning."

"Ah. Where's dad?"

"He left to buy some groceries. by the way, we're going ot of town for business matters. You stay here okay? I already called James to take care of you while we're not around. He'll be here in the afternoon."

"Okay mom."

"Jiro already left. He said he will visit again some other time."

"Okay"

"Anyway, don't go home late if you want to go on a party,okay?"

"Mom... you know me. I'd rather be in my room than in a bar and flirt with some guys"

"yeah yeah. I'm just reminding you that you are free to do  whatever you want to do just remember to prioritize your safety and know your limitations."

"noted. thank you mom."

"by the way mom, I would like to ask, that guy named Jiro. Who is he? I mean, is he really tito doc's son?"

"Yes sweetie. Actually their twins."

"But how come tito doc still looks young?"

"Well, Inoue got married early. His wife gave birth at the age of 18."

"Oh... that explains why they look like brothers."

"Why? are you interested in him? oiiii dalaga na talaga ang anak namin. I'm crying."

mom acts as if she's wiping her tears.

"ofcourse not mom. It's just that, he said he knows me. He even called me "Ali". For some reasons, a part of me says I know him too."

"Maybe it's just a coincidence. There's a lot of people who have the same face yet have different identities."

"You have a point mom. Anyway, what time are you leaving?"

"Later this afternoon. We will just wait for James and talk about something."

"Okay mom. Please let me know when your about to leave."

Hours had past. Dad came home with James.
James is only 24 years old but his good with different weapons and he can access sites by hacking them in case of emergency. I met him when I was 20. He was one of my 18 roses since dad wants his daughter to experience the feeling of celebrating her debut. According to him, he was 10 when he got adopted by aunt Sky. Technically , he is my cousin. He studied abroad. He runs their business while aunt Sky is doing nothing. He's over protective in a good way. He let me live the life I want basta wag lang daw akong gagawa ng ikapapahamak ko.

"Hi princess"

"Oh please kuya. Stop calling me that."

"Why? because dalaga kana? even if you grow old, for me your still my little princess."

"Awe... that's so sweet of you James." mom was moved by what James said.

After mom and dad talked to James, they hugged me and kuya. Mom promised to take us to Disneyland.

"Be safe dad. mom. Call me when you get there okay?"

"yes ma'am!" they both answered. And get in the car.
