Chapter 23 (Never forget)

Finns Pov

"Finn I.... No" she stuttered then a tear fell from her face.

Did she just say No?
I don't think I heard that right!

"What! Why?" I asked almost shouting.
"I'm sorry Finn. I'm just not ready" she wiped away her tear.

I stood up and took a seat trying not to faint. I felt lite headed.
I looked across the table and Rachel was smiling.
"You think this is funny? I just proposed and you said no" I shouted.
She started laughing and stood up and ran over to me.
"I'm just joking" she laughed
"And yes! I will marry you"

"That wasn't funny!" I frowned.
"I'm sorry. But are you gonna kiss your fiancé or not?" She smiled.
I stood up and we smashed lips.
Everybody from behind the curtains came out and started clapping.
I'm so happy right now. I can't believe I'm actually marrying Rachel. I've waited so long for this. Now I can call her my wife.
I will always protect her no matter what. I will vow that.

Rachel's Pov

We're getting married! I can't believe it. I'm seriously the happiest girl alive. I'm finally marrying the love of my life. I get to call him my husband.

There's so many things Finn and I have to talk over. How many kinds were gonna have? We're we are gonna live? Pets? Jobs?

We still have to figure all that out.
But we literally just got engaged, let's celebrate.

Finns Pov

Rachel asked me to drive her home so we could tell her parents the big news.
Rachel's dads are very protective over her. I really need to show them that they can trust me to be her husband.

We walked threw the door together to see Rachel's dads already waiting.
"I love you guys so much" Rachel screamed hugging her dads Hirman and Leroy.

"Oh hello Finn. You finally started talking to my daughter again" Leroy said rolling his eyes.
"No dad, it was for an amazing reason. Finn and I need to talk to you. Come sit" Rachel pointed to the couch.
We all walked over and sat down.

"You better not be pregnant!" Hirman raised his voice.
"No! Defiantly not for a while" Rachel assured him.

"Dads Finn and I are... Engaged" Rachel held up her hand so her dads could see the ring.
Hirman and Leroy both looked at each other shocked.

"I love you Rachel, and I want you to be happy. But this isn't a good idea. Your to young" Hirman said.
"I know what I want dad. Finn makes me happy. We're getting married and that's final" Rachel shouted.

I was very uncomfortable.

"Mr Berrys, I love your daughter. I swear to you I will be a good husband to her. I will protect her with all I have." I finally spoke.

They both looked at me rolling their eyes.
"Okay Finn... I am not okay with you guys getting married so young, but you will be 18 soon. So I'm saying it's alright. But no SEX!!" Hirman yelled.

We kinda already broke the sex rule😳

Rachel and I looked at each other and smiled uncomfortably.
"Uh yes sir" I said shaking there hands.

I looked at my watch, it was already 8pm. I needed to get home and do my homework, tell my parents and Kurt the news and get some sleep for school.

Rachel walked me to the door and I hugged her super tight.
"I love you so much Rachel. Never forget" I whispered into her ear releasing from our hug.
"See you tomorrow fiancé" she said leaning in for a kiss.

Leroy cleared his throat which cause Rachel to jump back just before we touched lips.
"None of that" Leroy shouted.

"Bye babe! Pick you up at 7 tomorrow" I quickly said running out the door.
I got in my truck and drove home trying to sync in everything thats happened today.
I just can't wait to be married!
