Chapter 24 (Next season)

Finns Pov

My cast is finally coming off!
It's been a month that I've been wearing this stupid, itchy and smelly thing.

Rachel and I got engaged 1 week ago. I feel happier each day knowing I have a fiancé. I love going to school with Rachel everyday and being able to kiss her and tell her how much I love her. Life is just so much better.

Both of our parents know about the engagement. They sadly don't support it but it's not their decision whether Rachel and I get married or not.
Everybody at school knows. Lots of people are really happy for us.

Rachel's Pov

"Hello Mrs Hudson" I said as I got into the car.
"Hello Rachel. Are you sure your parents are alright with you missing school?" She asked.
"Yup..." I lied.

I wanted to be there when Finn got his cast off so I asked his parents if I could tag along. They said it was okay as long as my parents approved. I didn't even ask my parents.

10 minutes later
------

We pulled up to the hospital. Finn rapped his arm around my waist and we followed his parents inside.
Finn and I just followed his parents into one of the doctor rooms.
Finn sat down on the table bed thing and I sat down next to him.
"Hello Mr Hudson. You ready to get that cast of?" The doctor asked as he walked in.
"Yes! I can't wait to get this thing off" Finn said.
We all laughed.

I stood up and went to take a seat next to Finns Mom.
I watched as they took his cast off. He was so relived and happy afterward.

It was around 2:30 and school was still in the process so Finns parents decide to drop us off at school for the last period.
After school Finn was going to go talk to his coach about starting football up again.

The whole car ride to school Finn had a big smile on his face.
"Why are you so happy? We are going to school weirdo" I laughed
"I'm just so happy that I finally got this sweaty cast off" he smiled.
"You excited for football?" I asked.
"Duh! Im so thrilled to be able to get back on the field" his smile grew even bigger.

We pulled up to the school and went to our separate classes.
After school I met up with Finn and we walked over to the guys locker room to talk to the coach. Finn was hoping to start football agin today. The boys had a practice and Finn wanted in on it.

We walked up to the locker room doors.
"Wait! Before I go in... Aren't there naked guys in there?" I asked.
"Oh ya.... I want you there when I talk to the couch. So cover your eyes" he shrugged his shoulders and we walked in together.
I followed Finn as he walked over to the coaches office. I kept my head down but would glance up once and a while. I couldn't help but stare at the sexy, topless guys surrounding me😏

We reached the coaches office and Finn and I took a seat.

Finns Pov

"Hey Finn, I see you've gotten your cast off" Coach Beast spoke.
"Ya I did. You know what that means... I get to play football again!" I said in excitement.
"Ohh Finn..... We gotta talk about that" Coach said.

I looked at Rachel confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked worried.
"There's a new guy who transferred here a week ago. He is and amazing quarterback. We had to take the offer. I'm sorry Finn but you will have to wait for next years try outs" the Coach frowned.

"Are you fucking kidding me!" I screamed bolting up from my chair.

"I'm so sorry Finn" Coach apologized then stood up from her desk and walked out of the room.

I looked down at Rachel who was still sitting and she was shocked. I could tell she new how upset I was.

"I'm sure your better that the new guy" Rachel said out of no were. I could tell she was trying to cheer me up.

I was so angry I wanted to punch the wall. How could they do this to me. The team and coach new how much football meant to me and they gave my spot away.

I stormed out of the office and I could here Rachel's light steps behind me.

What I did next I wish I could have taken back. I was just so mad I couldn't control myself.

I ran to the parking lot and hopped in my truck. I drove to the field and shifted into high gear. I saw Rachel standing next to the bleachers and I saw the team practicing on the grass.

But I was to angry to care. I drove into the middle of the field and started driving in circles ripping the grass and leaving mud marks.
I could hear the coach screaming at me to stop but I ignored her.

After about 3 minutes of driving in circles like a mad man I finally stopped.
I reached over to the passenger door and opened it.

"Rach get in. I'll drive you home" I demanded.
Rachel looked at me in shock.
"No I'll get Puck to drive me home after practice" she quickly said then ran off to the bleachers.

What have I done?

Rachel's Pov

I can't believe Finn did that.
I understand he's mad but he just ruined the football field. Like what the hell!

I didn't want him to drive me home cause of how angry he was. I mean he could drive us off the road.

I watched from the bleachers as the football team threw footballs at Finns truck in anger.
Finn just drove off the field.

I hope this didn't effect our relationship.😕
