He was folding his clothes when I entered the bedroom. I sat on the bed looking at him .He didn't look at me once.
"Rehan" I called him trying to get his attention but he didn't say anything.
"Rehan" I called him again.
He was done packing his bags too. He hasn't ignored me till now. I couldn't help but let my tears fall when he went to the door.
"Rehan please .." I said between my hiccups.
He sighed and turn around and looked at me.
"Tum kyu roo rahi ho Ira . Is this fair ? You know I can't leave you like this " he said looking at me.
I got up hugged him crying more .
"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. Mujhe pata nhi essa kyu laga . "I said while crying in his arms.
"Tum essa soch bhi kaise sakti ho ki mai tumpe cheat karunga?" He asked
" Sab bol rahe the ki you deserve better.Aur tum bhi bina bataye chale gayee I thought ki you think the same . Esliye I got insecure " I tried to explain him my side of the story .
"Ira I'm your husband. Shouldn't you trust me above anyone words . Why would you believe what others said ? Did I ever told you to lose weight? Do you think I didn't realise what you are trying to do ? Did I ever say to you that I want you to lose weight? . I never did any of these still you think I'm cheating on you . Why ?" He asked while consoling me .
"You didn't but I still felt like I'm not enough" I replied not letting him go .
"I'm sorry Rey " I said again.
"Would you stop overthinking then ?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Words" he said holding my face between his hands.
"Yes" I replied
"Better" he said and kissed my forehead.
"Yaar kitna time .." Raha said entering the bedroom without knocking.
"Maine kuch nhi dhekha" she said and started laughing.
"Can you please knock while entering?" He asked frustrated.
"I'm sorry" she replied laughing out loud.
"Bahar niklo " he said looking dead serious at her .
"Okay. Okay" She said and left the room.
I stood there looking at them .
"Mujhe ek call karna hai" Rehan said and left too .
I finally opened my books and started my revision. I only have 12 days!!! .
Almost four hours later Rehan entered the room.
"Bhookh nhi lagi tumhai ?" He said standing behind me.
"Umm...Thodisi lagi hai" I replied after thinking about it.
"Toh chale khana khane ."he said
"Ha " I replied and followed him out .
"Raha kaha hai ?" I asked as she was missing on the table.
" Vo toh chali gayee tum padh rahi thi to socha disturb nhi karte " Baba replied to my question.
"Chaliyee gayee ? Toh tum kyu nhi gayee ?" I asked Rehan as they were supposed to leave together.
"Tumhe koi problem hai ?" He said staring at me .
"Nhi " I replied. I'll ask him later about it.
We had dinner and I cleaned up kitchen later. It was almost 10 when I went to the bedroom. Rehan was in the bathroom I guess. I opened my books and started studying again. 10 min later Rehan came out of the bathroom. Only wearing his shorts . I glanced at him while he came out . My whole focus was lost . And I took a deep breath trying to regain my focus . I kept peeping at him in between .
"Tumhe soona nhi hai ?" He asked while he laid in the middle of the bed .
"Umm.. Thodi der mai." I said and tried to focus . After almost two hours I got up . He was still on his phone.
"Tumhe soona nahi hai ?" I asked as it's been 2 hours since he has been in bed.
"Mai apni wife ka wait kar raha hu " he replied finally keeping his phone aside .
I don't know what to say now ! Why is he waiting for me to sleep? Just sleep dude ! Why do you need me ?
"Kyu ?" I asked while sitting in front of the mirror and doing my skin routine .
"Raat ko wife ka wait kyu karte hai ?" He asked changing his tone .
"Kyu karte hai ?" I replied not sure about where the topic is going .
"Tum bed pe aao mai batata hu " he said while smirking at me .
I looked at him speechless.
"Tum kaunsi side pe soote ho ?" I replied changing the topic .
"Mai toh bich mai sootaa hu . Tumhe jiss side pe soona hai soo jao ." He said flirting again .
"Rehan tum shirt pehen lo atleast" I requested this time .
"Kyu mere shirtless hone tumhe kuch kuch ho raha hai ?" He said laughing now.
"Please" I said showing him my best puppy eyes.
"Tum uncomfortable ho ?" He asked all serious now .
"Nhi . Kyu ?" I asked confused.
"Toh phir thik hai " he said and got more relaxed on bed .
"Koi toh side do mujhe soona hai " I asked again.
"Kahi bhi soojao " he said not moving.
I ignored him and laid on the right side of the bed since I'm used to it and turned my back to him since it was too awkward.
"Excuse me" He said touching my shoulder.
"Kya" I replied while glancing at him.
"Phele aap phir tum phir Rehan aur shaam ko to direct Rey abb next kya hai ? I'm really excited for it ." He said pulling me closer and putting his face on my shoulder.
"Kuch bhi nhi " I replied.
"Kyu ?" He said brushing his beard on my cheeks.
"Rey chubh rahi hai " I said as his beard was rough.
"Abb Rey ke aage ?" He said as placed his lips on my neck . My heartbeat increase as he didn't move.
"Aage ?" I asked him.
"I don't know. Maybe you moaning it " he said while moving his lips from neck to shoulder.
My breathing increased as he did that . I couldn't think of anything anymore.
"Rey please" I said not sure about what.
"Abhi tak kuch kiya bhi nhi Iru" he said now replacing his nose in place of lips .
"Vaise tum gayee kyu nhi ?" I asked after calming down.
"Tumhe mere rukne se koi problem hai ?" He asked arching his eyebrows at me .
"Nhi but puch rahi hu " I said explaining myself.
"Maine kuch din ke liye work from home le liya ." He replied to my question.
"Kyu?" I asked confused
"Kyuki mujhe meri wife ke bina neend nhi aati hai . Abb soo jao phir subha jaldi bhi uthna hai" he said answering all my questions. He kissed my forehead for a minute later . And just like that for the first time I slept in his arms.
