The Unplanned Marriage

It's been two weeks since he left . My exams are starting in 15 days . But I'm currently busy because of the baby naming ceremony.  It's tomorrow. Rehan and I texted each other mostly about the baby and his photos too. I kept my focus on my studies since my exams are close . Ma did almost all the house work. I was strictly told to focus on my studies by Baba . I woke up at 3 am for my studies since I wouldn't be able to do much today because of the ceremony. I was lost in my studies when someone knocked on the door .
"Ira , 8 baj gaye breakfast toh karlo " Ma said angryly.
She hates when I skip breakfast or lunch. But how should I tell her that I'm not forgetting about it but intentionally not eating. I was intentionally missing my lunch and dinner because no matter what people opinions didn't left my mind for a second. Every time I eat I remember every taunts every comment I heard that day so I skip as much as I can without anyone noticing.
"Sorry, mera time pe dhyan hi nhi raha " I again tried the same excuse.
I followed her out as she started the same lecture.
"Dekho mujhe pata hai ki tumhari padhai important hai but usse jyada important hai tumhare tabiyat so never skip any lunch " she said .
"Ha Ma " I replied sitting at my place not looking at anyone and started eating. I was hungry.
"Kal bhi ha bola tha tumne aur kal bhi you didn't have dinner " she said again.
"Mai bhool gayee thi " I tried the second excuse.
"Aur koi khana khana kaise bhool sakta hai?"
I stopped eating and looked at him of course he'll be here it's his sister's baby's naming ceremony. I didn't say anything and continued eating.
"Are Raha aao tum bhi breakfast karlo " ma said while looking at a girl .
I don't know her . Well I don't even know when she came here . But since her hair is wet I think she just had a shower. I continued looking at her as she took a place next to him at the breakfast table. She was pretty
"Are tum esse mili nhi hogi na . Yeh Raha hai  mere school friend ki ladki " Ma introduced her .
" Hi " I said smiling at her.
"Hey " she replied.
" Vaise tumne jawab nhi diya?" Rehan asked me .
"Kis ka jawab ?" I asked him
"Ma yeh chup hi nhi ho rahi hai please help me " di said from her room .
"Ma aap rukhe mai dhekti hu vaise bhi mera ho gaya " I said and got up from the table.
"Kya hua ?" I asked di as I entered her room .
"Yaar pata nhi bhot irritate ho rahi hai yeh " she replied
"Maybe yeh dress ki wajah se hoga . Let's change it " I suggested.
And looked for a comfortable dress in her wardrobe.
"Dii vaise yeh Raha kab ayee ?" I asked curiously.
"Are voh toh subha hi ayee hai Rehan ke saath " She replied.
"Rehan ke saath ?" I asked again
"Ha voh dono pass mai rehte hai na " she replied again
"Rehan aur Raha childhood friends hai aur dono bhot close bhi hai ek dusre ke . Accha hua usse vaha Raha mil gayee " she said as I found a dress and started changing her .
"Voh yaha rehti thi kya ? Matlab colony friend hai ?" I asked again.
"Nhi Raha toh yaha nhi rehti thi but phir bhi dono bhot close the bachpan se yaha tak ki mummy ko Rehan ki shaadi Raha se hi karni thi kyuki humne laga tha ki vo dono  relationship mai hai . Vo ekdam perfect lagte hai saath mai" she said casually.

But my heart stopped for a second. Shaadi ?Affair? Is she the girl who picked up the call ? Perfect to voh hai she is slim and fit . She is beautiful nothing like me .
"Ira , kya hua ?" di called me
"Nhi kuch nhi " I said and left for kitchen to help Ma clean up .
When I entered the kitchen I was too shocked by the things I saw . Ma , Baba , Rehan and Raha all were laughing and talking about something. They looked like family . I started cleaning the dinning table to distract myself. I cleaned the table and kitchen but no one said anything to me . They were talking with each other like I was not even there . I left the kitchen as soon as I was done with my work.
I entered the bedroom and sat down on the bed taking deep breaths to calm myself down. I thought I had a happy family but suddenly she looks like family and I feel like an outsider . Suddenly the door opened as Rehan walked in Raha following him .
"Toh abb kya phenogi function mai ?" Rehan said.
I thought he was asking me for a second but soon she replied.
"Pata nhi I thought di ka koi dress phenlungi but unke pregnancy vale hai and esska toh .. ummm I don't know ab kya phenu ?" She replied to him.
"Let's go and buy something" Rehan suggested . And she agreed.
It's been a month to our marriage but he never took me out . We never went out anywhere. Is he ashamed of me ? Ofcourse he is look at yourself and look at her .
"Hum bedroom mai kyu aye the ?" She asked him while laughing .
"Mujhe change karna hai . Tum chalo mai ata hu " he said and she left .

Again I feel like I don't even exist. Rehan took his clothes and went in bathroom.
As soon as he left my tears starts falling. I tried to calm myself down again. After a while I stopped crying. I just hoped that I'll find a great family a nice husband but guess what that's not happening.
Rehan came out and started getting ready.
"Tum chalogi ?" He asked but it sounded like a formality and no I don't want to see him with her . I don't think my heart can take it anymore .
"Nhi . I don't want to distub you . Waise bhi shaam ke function ke kaam hai " I replied looking at him.
"Okay" he replied.
Okay? So you don't want to be disturbed? .
He left the room .
Just like that afternoon ended with all the work done .
As I entered the room to get ready Rehan was already done.
He wore a sky blue colour shirt and dark blue suit .
"Kaise lag raha hu ?" He asked while looking in the mirror
"Nice . Naya liya ?" I replied.
"Ha . Subha gaya tha tab Raha ne force kiya toh le liya " he explained .
Again Raha no matter how much I tried to ignore it but it's always her since morning.
I nodded and looked for my dress . Well it was a purple colour dress 👗. He had a purple suit in his wardrobe so i thought he'll wore that .
"Tum kya phen rahi ho ? " He asked
Someone entered without knocking ...
Raha.. I looked at her and then at him and I almost can't believe myself. Her dress was matching with him . They bought a matching clothes together. After they talked he left with her . And I changed my dress. 
I got ready and we all left for the function.
The only thing I was waiting for in this function was Riya . I asked her to come since I'll completely alone here . I really wanted to meet her it's been so long .And as she promised she was here since an hour but I couldn't talk to her . I was completely busy with some work and can't even meet her in whole function. 

Rehan pov .
It felt nice coming back home after two weeks I'm not used to stay without my family. So I was definitely happy today and even Raha was here .
The function was almost over and I saw Riya so I went to her .
"Hii " I said excited.
We haven't meet since long time
"Hi " she replied to dryly.
"Kya hua ? You okayy ?" I asked.
"No I'm definitely not okay." She replied kinda angry.
"Riya kya hua hai ?" I asked worried.
"Seriously Rehan I wasn't expecting this from you ." She replied again.
" Tum clearly bologi kuch ? Kya Kiya Maine ?" I asked now confused.
"Mujhe tumhari wife dhik rhi hai .Tumhare Ma Baba ki bahu dhik rahi hai . Tumhare behen ki bhabhi dhik rahi hai aur infact  uske bache ki mammi tak dhik rahi hai ." She replied .
"I'm not getting the point Riya " I said.
"Rehan mujhe Ira ka husband nhi dhik raha ." She said
"Mai toh yahi hu esse kyu bol rahi ho tum ?" I asked more confused
"Mujhe aake 3 hrs ho gaye . Mujhe bs meri bestfriend ko dekhna hai .Usse baat karni hai .Vo thik hai ya nhi vo check karna hai but vo tumhari aur tumhre ghar ke responsibility mai etni busy ho gaye hai ki mujhe meri Iru kahi dhik hi nhi rahi hai Rehan " she replied angry this time .
And that was like a slap on my face . Her words felt like a slap on my face .
"Rehan it's 10 Sab chale gaye hai . Tum ne khana bhi kha liya with your so called bestfriend yaha tak ki sab ne khana kha liya . But Ira ne nhi khaya . Rehan meri Ira ko 10 min ki bhook bhi bardasht nhi hoti thi . You know mujhe bura kis baat ka lag raha hai? ki no one in your family realised ki usne khana nhi khaya . Even you didn't realised ki usne khana nhi khaya hai . I'm almost regretting letting you marry her Rehan ." She said and left .

I sat there for 10 min as her words sinked in me . Yes I was so happy today that I was back home I just enjoyed myself the whole time . I didn't did a single work and since Baba was with me i thought everything was already done . The thought didn't cross my mind that Ira is managing everything. I even handed over the baby to her when everyone was going for dinner because I wanted to have dinner together but I didn't realised that she missed her dinner. I didn't realised that my wife didn't had dinner. I didn't realise that she didn't have 10 minutes for herself in the whole function.
