The Unplanned Marriage

It's been two weeks since he left . My exams are starting in 15 days . But I'm currently busy because of the baby naming ceremony.  It's tomorrow. Rehan and I texted each other mostly about the baby and his photos too. I kept my focus on my studies since my exams are close . Ma did almost all the house work. I was strictly told to focus on my studies by Baba . I woke up at 3 am for my studies since I wouldn't be able to do much today because of the ceremony. I was lost in my studies when someone knocked on the door .
"Ira , 8 baj gaye breakfast toh karlo " Ma said angryly.
Ira, it's 8 am let's have breakfast)
She hates when I skip breakfast or lunch. But how should I tell her that I'm not forgetting about it but intentionally not eating. I was intentionally missing my lunch and dinner because no matter what people opinions didn't left my mind for a second. Every time I eat I remember every taunts every comment I heard that day so I skip as much as I can without anyone noticing.
"Sorry, mera time pe dhyan hi nhi raha " I again tried the same excuse.
( Sorry I forgot to look at time )
I followed her out as she started the same lecture.
"Dekho mujhe pata hai ki tumhari padhai important hai but usse jyada important hai tumhare tabiyat so never skip any  meal" she said .
( Look I know your studies are important but the thing more important than your studies is your health so don't skip meals)
"Ha Ma " I replied sitting at my place not looking at anyone and started eating. I was hungry.
( Yes mom )
"Kal bhi ha bola tha tumne aur kal bhi you didn't have dinner " she said again.
( Even yesterday you said yes and then you didn't have dinner)
"Mai bhool gayee thi " I tried the second excuse.
( I forgot)
"Aur koi khana khana kaise bhool sakta hai?"
( And how can someone forget to have dinner?)
I stopped eating and looked at him of course he'll be here it's his sister's baby's naming ceremony. I didn't say anything and continued eating.
"Are Raha aao tum bhi breakfast karlo " ma said while looking at a girl .
( Come Raha have breakfast)
I don't know her . Well I don't even know when she came here . But since her hair is wet I think she just had a shower. I continued looking at her as she took a place next to him at the breakfast table. She was pretty
"Are tum esse mili nhi hogi na . Yeh Raha hai  mere school friend ki ladki " Ma introduced her .
( U haven't met her right? She is my school friend's daughter)
" Hi " I said smiling at her.
"Hey " she replied.
" Vaise tumne jawab nhi diya?" Rehan asked me .
( U didn't answer my question)
"Kis ka jawab ?" I asked him
( What question?)
"Ma yeh chup hi nhi ho rahi hai please help me " di said from her room .
( Mom she is continuously crying please help me)
"Ma aap rukhe mai dhekti hu vaise bhi mera ho gaya " I said and got up from the table.
( Mom I'll go and check I have done my breakfast)
"Kya hua ?" I asked di as I entered her room .
( What happened?)
"Yaar pata nhi bhot irritate ho rahi hai yeh " she replied
( Idk she looks irritated)
"Maybe yeh dress ki wajah se hoga . Let's change it " I suggested.
( Maybe it's cuz of the dress let's change it)
And looked for a comfortable dress in her wardrobe.
"Dii vaise yeh Raha kab ayee ?" I asked curiously.
( When did Raha come?)
"Are voh toh subha hi ayee hai Rehan ke saath " She replied.
( She came in the morning with Rehan)
"Rehan ke saath ?" I asked again
( With Rehan?)
"Ha voh dono pass mai rehte hai na " she replied again
( Yes they both live close)
"Rehan aur Raha childhood friends hai aur dono bhot close bhi hai ek dusre ke . Accha hua usse vaha Raha mil gayee " she said as I found a dress and started changing her .
( They are childhood friends and they're really close to each other. It's nice that he have her"
"Voh yaha rehti thi kya ? Matlab colony friend hai ?" I asked again.
( Did she lived her ? I mean are they colony friends?)
"Nhi Raha toh yaha nhi rehti thi but phir bhi dono bhot close the bachpan se yaha tak ki mummy ko Rehan ki shaadi Raha se hi karni thi kyuki humne laga tha ki vo dono  relationship mai hai . Vo ekdam perfect lagte hai saath mai" she said casually.
( No Raha didn't lived here but still they were inseparable. Mom even thought they'll get married cuz we thought they were dating. They look perfect together)
