As they get closer to the castle, the atmosphere thickens with an unsettling tension. Elizabeth, feels a chill in the air, and goosebumps appearing on her arms, despite the absence of a breeze.

Now entering the castle's doors, the crew finds themselves in a dimly lit entrance hall, with the castle's doors closing by themselves behind them. The air inside is stale, carrying a scent of ancient dust.

Jack slides his finger against the layers of dust on a nearby cabinet. He raises his eyebrows as he sees Elizabeth walking towards him.

"What on earth are we exactly looking for?" She questions him, her tone having a hint of suspicion that this might be one of those cursed items.

Jack stares into her eyes, as he leans closer. "The Whispering Skull Key, love." he utters, his tone carrying some weight of mystery and excitement. "Wasn't my idea, since I easily pick the lock on any chest," he adds.

In the background, Ragetti lets out a soft chuckle. This causes both Jack and Elizabeth to break their intense eye contact. Their gaze shifts towards Ragetti.

Seeing both Jack and Elizabeth stare confused at him, Ragetti's smile fades as he says, "Yer shadows, mates, looked like they were more than friends but not quite a couple, having a cozy little shadow hug," Ragetti says with a quirky grin.

"Were they?" Jack jokes with a nonchalant shrug, seemingly unfazed.

Barbossa interrupts, his eyes narrowing as he begins, "The Whispering Key, aye," he starts, looking at Jack. "As pirates, we," he nods towards Jack again, "know the struggle of picking locks." Barbossa grins and continues, "But this key, mates, opens every treasure you don't have a key to."

Jack, always quick to defend his skills, objects "Not me. I don't struggle picking locks."

Barbossa chuckles, "That's why you threw a chest across your cabin the last time, eh?" He adds with a smirk, remembering a past venture.

In the meantime, Ragetti and Pintel are frolicking around, jumping and bending in an attempt to observe any out of the ordinary movement of their own shadows. Between their tumbling, they exchange glances, asking, "What's mine doing?" as they chuckle.

As Barbossa, Jack, and Elizabeth cast disapproving glances in their direction, Gibbs tells them, "They've been at it for a good 5 minutes now," Just as Barbossa was about to roll his eyes, Ragetti, as clumsy as he is, accidentally flipped a lever while jumping.

The unintentional flip of the lever revealed a hidden chamber within the castle's floors.

Gibbs, surprised by the revealed hidden chamber, mutters with a small hint of amusement, "Well, I'll be. Guess even dimwits find a treasure now and then."

The crew descends down the stairs into the hidden chamber, stepping foot on the floor.

As Jack attemps to step forward, he's stopped by the point of Barbossa's sword. Jack gives him a confused look as Barbossa begins, "Hold on, Sparrow. There might be a few tricks laid about."

To prove his point, he nudges Pintel, causing him to step on a discolored tile. In an instant, a bucket of water comes out of no-where and splashes Pintel in the face, provoking Ragetti to let out laugh.

"Well, me hearties, mind yer step. These discolored tiles may be hiding more than just a splash of water," Barbossa says with a grin. Just as their eyes glance upon The Whispering Skull Key, seemingly within reach, the walls start trembling and moving, causing the room to shift into a smaller but longer hallway, with the key at the far end.

"Well, I suppose that's another consequence," Barbossa mumbles.

On Barbossa's command, the crew moved forward, being extra cautious to avoid any discolored tiles. Yet, this proved to be more challenging than they thought, with irregular flashes of light caused by the shifting shadows, attempting to break their focus.

As the crew gets further in the hallway, a sudden flash distracts Elizabeth, causing her to accidentally step on a discolored tile. Before the trap can hit her, Jack, quick on his feet, pulls her back, barely avoiding the hidden danger.

Jack quickly rises to his feet, and readjusts his coat. But as he stands up, the hall stretches and becomes even longer. "Oh, come on!" Barbossa growls at the streching walls.

At last, the crew made their way through the tricky hallway, now standing in front of The Whispering Skull Key.

Jack reaches out to grab the key, his fingers inches away from its ghostly surface. However, Barbossa, with a brisk movement, scoots him away and grabs it himself.

As Jack raises his eyebrow in disagreement towards the scooting away, the whole castle starts falling apart. Panic sets in, and they start running to escape in time, dodging falling fragments.

As they burst out of the crumbling castle, Jack suddenly feels a firm grip on his arm. Startled, he turns to see Elizabeth holding on. With a quick shake, he frees his arm from her grip, shooting her a weirded-out look, but has a hidden smirk before walking off without saying a word.
