The following day, Elizabeth finds herself on the foredeck of The Black Pearl, the salty breeze blowing through her hair as she gazes over the endless landscape that the sea brings.

Jack, not expecting to see Elizabeth there, walks towards the foredeck. He lets out a slight gasp as he sees her standing there. The sound of the gasp makes Elizabeth turn her head to see Jack standing there, flabbergasted. She glances at him briefly before returning her gaze to the sea.

Jack, quickly got his act togheter, now showing a sneaky grin on his face. "No argument, today?" he says, his tone blend with amusement and a hint of slyness.

"No," Elizabeth starts with a soft voice, "An apology, actually," she adds. Jack feels confused as he moves to stand next to her.

"I need to apologize for the difficulties I've caused the past few weeks," Elizabeth continues, Jack raises an eyebrow at this statement, but Elizabeth's eyes are still focused on the horizon. "I didn't want to make things challenging. It's just.." She pauses, leaving her unfinished apology in the air as she thinks about the right words.

Jack senses that Elizabeth is struggling to finish her sentence, "It's just that dealing with Will no longer being with us hits harder than a cannonball, eh?" he adds to her sentence, his voice carrying a hint of humor.

Elizabeth, unable to keep her cool, let's out a laugh. "Yeah, you could say that." Elizabeth turns her head towards Jack, her eyes meeting his. In that moment, she could feel the air shift, a subtle change that only they could sense.

Jack, detecting the twinkle in Elizabeth's eyes, offers a witty smile. As he turns away, he tells her, "What adventures will today's tide bring, eh?" with a touch of playfulness. And with those words, Jack walks away, leaving Elizabeth standing on the deck.

Elizabeth watches the sway of the ship, the sea breeze holding her thoughts as they drift with it. Barbossa, noticing the crew's anticipatory, shouts, "Prepare to make port!" The command rings out over the ship, making the crew quickly move into action.

Stepping ashore, their boots met the land. "Where are we?" Elizabeth calls out. "Gloomshores," Barbossa begins, his eyes going over the mysterious surroundings. "Legend has it, this be a place caught between the layers of shadow and light. Some even say that the shadows within the eerie mist possess the ability to decipher the secrets you leave unspoken."

Jack, leaning against a barrel nearby, smirks skeptically. "Sounds like a tale that's been made up by rum-addled minds, if ye ask me. No shadow has interest in our secrets." His tone filled with disbelief.

Just as Jack chuckles, a sudden movement startles him. Out of nowhere, Jack the monkey zooms down, quick and mischievous, making a grab for Sparrow's hat. Making Captain Jack let out a short scream. After Jack the monkey lands back on Barbossa's shoulder, Barbossa hands Jack's hat back to him with a smirk. Jack gives the monkey an annoyed glare, while readjusting his hat with a huff.

Elizabeth, with a raised eyebrow, exclaims, "That was very unnecessary, Barbossa." Just before Barbossa could react to that, strange flashes of light and shadows trembled upon the rocks, projecting an eerie show throughout the surroundings.

Ragetti, wide-eyed, clutches Pintel's arm and stutters, "W-What if they be after our souls?" In response, Pintel slaps Ragetti's head, causing his fake eye to pop out, "They be nothin' but shadows," Pintel blurs out as Ragetti erratically runs after his eye.

"Enough foolery, mates! We've got business ahead." Barbossa utters as they move forward.

As the crew ventured deeper into the heart of Gloomshores, a dark structure emerged from the mist– a castle, standing tall against the mysterious landscape. The air grew thicker with a strange silence, broken only by the creaking sound of the castle's ancient gates as they get swung open by clumsy Ragetti who finally was able to catch his rolling eye. "Got it!" He says with a smile, gloriously holding up his reclaimed eye. Yet, as Ragetti's gaze moves to the looming castle ahead, the grin on his face slowly fades.

Before Ragetti could say his thoughts, the crew had already started walking through the gates.
