konoha hospital
naruto had never felt this pathetic in his life, even when he was beaten by the villagers, that is nothing compared to right now, he defeated gaara and yugito with lee but he passed out even though he just used 30% of his chakra, how will he protect everyone he loves when he is so damn pathetic. he gazed out the hospital window not even noticing that there was another person sitting right beside his bed
"what are you looking at?"
naruto sighed as he got up and stood behind her, hugging her from behind and placing his chin on her head
"nothing but there is one thing i wanna say to you"
satsuki held naruto's arms and smiled
"shoot"
"im just really sorry, im the worst boyfriend in the world "
satsuki removed his arms from her and turned around, she held his arms in her own
"what makes you think that?"
naruto sighed as her rubbed her forearm
"how can i not be, i have not even given you 1 second of my time since the forest of death, i could not save you from the nine tails and even now if you were not here i would have probably not come to see you"
satsuki smiled as she started she slowly rubbed his cheek
"you are busy naruto, it happens, and you did save me from the nine tails im alive right? so its alright"
naruto shook his head
" its still just a damn excuse"
satsuki pov
i watch him sit down at his hospital bed after changing, he gestures me to sit down so i did but he kept staring at me
"what?" i asked
next thing i know im on the ground, i heard thee sound pf metal meeting metal looking up i saw naruto standing there with a kunai and the window broken, and without a world he disappeared after saying
" stay here"
leaving me in a state of daze
naruto pov
i shunshin to the place where the kunai's came from and i see three blacked face anbu, i curse a certain warhawk before taking out my sword and swiping at the first one while the other two try to escape, root1 blocks my attack and tries to punch me but i sidestep it and slice off his neck, i look for the other two but they are already gone
i seal the root agents body and teleport to satsuki
"are you okay?" she ask
"im fine but i gotta go" i give her a quick kiss and teleport to minato
hokage office
minato and itachi were in the hokage office, minato discussing something with itachi when naruto appeared, naruto remained silent as hey sheathed his bloody katana and take a seat
"root agent 3" naruto said
"body?"
"one"
minato nodded and took the scroll from naruto
"il take care of it, are you injured" asked minato keeping the scroll in his pouch
naruto shook his head
"naruto i have a request"
"what is it?"
"i know its the chunin exam but its an emergency, we got an letter from kiri requesting help 10 minutes ago so im gonna send you sasuke and satsuki out for a mission to kiri, i trust you the most right now with matters of kiri"
