Inner demons

Kakashi had never been able to sleep properly , not since the third great shinobi war, whenever he closed his eye he always saw the accusatory looks of his dead teammates and comrades staring back at him telling him that he is the reason they are dead, he usually reads his precious icha icha to take his mind off those thoughts but today it was not working, knock knock he heard someone at his door ,opening it he found a anbu, cat if he remembered standing there

"Greetings kakashi senpai the hokage has urgently called for you"

Kakashi nodded and closed the door sighing before getting his gear out, well that solves his problem, wearing his boots and flack jacket he leapt out of the window towards his sensei, the wind was cool and soothing tonight he had noticed

Knocking on the door to the hokage's office after signing in with the secretary he saw that his cute little genin were also there althought two of them looked like they were going to sleep in this office only"Kakashi its good to see that your not late for once"

Sighing at the jab kakashi took out his book and nodded" reporting for duty hokage sama" Minato nodded and handed him a paper "i had sent team 11 to kiri due a distress call and have received a letter saying you should come their like it really specified you so off you go" kakashi sighed and went outside after saying a hai-hokage-sama and dragging kotaru and mito.

next day kiri

naruto opened the door of the room he was given to find a familiar man standing there "kakashi" kakashi sighed and stepped back revealing mito, kotaru and akari, naruto looked at him in confusion while gesturing them to come inside, mito instantly hopped on the bed falling asleep followed by her two teammate, naruto chuckled while he went ahead and started making him and kakashi coffee , his gaze got serious as both the nins sat down "i assume you have not called for me specifically just to give me a coffee" naruto started to stir his coffee "before i tell you this i need you to act professional" kakashi's eyebrow rose " does the name rin nohara sound similar to you?" kakashi's eyes widened a little but he nodded

naruto took a deep breath "she is alive" naruto had to cover the three genins as massive amount of killer intent flooded out from the copy ninja, kakashi had murderous look in his eyes as he stood up "that is not a thing to joke about namikaze, and if you think you can lie you are wrong about it as i was the one who had killed her" naruto's eyes remained serious as he felt the tingle on mei's seal, he smirked "perfect timing" naruto grabbed kakashi's hand and teleported him towards a seal

kakashi was just about ready to charge up a chidori when his entire body froze his chakra being blocked as he saw a ghost, a small fire that was inside him began to grow as he croaked out "r-rin?", rin's lips formed a smile "hello kakashi-kun", kakashi was not a real good senser back in the days but his sense of scent was excellent and all his senses confirmed it that this was his teammate from the chakra to her scent, it was definitely her. to naruto it was as if kakashi knew the hiraishin as kakashi had disappeared from his place and was now hugging rin, he desperately clinged to her as tears rolled down his face, rin smiled and patted his back, it was a rather happy moment surrounded by a cloak of sadness and after what seemed like forever kakashi had no trouble feeling asleep as he fainted from the stress, it was as if his head was 10 times lighter

three hours later

mito had not know what to think of her naru-nee she had always thought of him as her big brother so imagine her suprise when she found out he was actually her real big brother, she did not hate him that was clear to her, she did feel guilt inside her a little but even now she could not ask just one simple question, why? why was he not with their family, why did they decide to abandon him, despite what she says she knew she wasn't the sharpest knife in the slot and she could not figure it all out, her and kotaru always follow their heart so it was weird, she sat up and rubbed her eyes "your finally awake" she froze as she heard that voice, it was the same voice that always comforted her when mom wasnt there, it was the same voice which had helped her in understanding iruka sensei's lesson, she wanted to go back to sleep but she knew it would be rude, removing kotaru and aiko from atop of her she stretched her limbs

when her vison finally cleared she saw him siting at a chair, even though he was the same age as her he always seemed to look older and ever since he returned from his mission in the mist he had something in his eyes which she could not explain, and she didnt usually give it a though, lazily yawning she spoke in a quite whisper "good morning nee-chan" "good morning to you too, bread or cereal?" " bread" she had sometimes wondered what it would be like to have a big brother, oh the irony "you know you should always stay alert during a mission" she anime fell as she groaned "not you too nee-chan kaa-san is enough for th-" she froze, shit she had definitely said something she should not have said, she knew that the topic of a mother had always bothered him, remembering that one time in the academy she wanted to bonk herself

flashback no jutsu

kotaru hmphed as he sat beside her dragging naruto-nee , sasuke and satsuki along with him "why does kaa-chan always pack stupid vegetables" he wined opening his lunchbox, everyone chuckled as they opened their own lunch box, mito gasped seeing the uchiha sibling's box "wow you guys got sushi and!!! pork, thats so unfair" sasuke chuckled while giving him a sushi "whats real unfair is naruto's lunch box, when have you seen vegetable in his box, damn man your mom is so good"

naruto froze while satsuki choked, coughing on her food, she had forgotten she was the only one who knew naruto was an orphan, it was not as if naruto hid it but he never talked about it "sasuke!!", everyone looked at her in confusion "what??" oh gosh why was he so stupid, she slowly turned her head towards naruto and winced, a lone tear was flowing down his cheek as he packed his lunch and got up, wiping the tear

mito looked at him in confusion "where are you goin-", one look from satsuki was enough to shut her up, naruto got up and disappeared after saying "you guys eat without me for today", satsuki lightly punched sasuke's back "you idiot" sasuke looker at satsuki dumbstrucked as she got up to go and find naruto

Kai

she realised now that knowing the truth about them probably hurt him more than she though, "nee-san i-" she started but halted when she saw he was unfazed and rather smiled "well she is right you know, you never know what can happen in a mission, now please do your old brother a favour and wake your teammates up?" mito nodded, soon a mischievous smile appeared on her face and she looked for the bathroom "oh and if your trying to throw water on them then the bathroom if the second door" mito's look could have been compared to the devils smile as she cackled like a maniac and filled a bucket with water

naruto smiled as he heard the screams of kotaru and akari while he spread butter over mito's bread, he should probably check out if sasuke and satsuki are awake or not though they probably are, a knock on the door interrupted his thinking, after bonking kotaru on the head and telling him to sit down he opened the door, guess he was correct "breakfast?", sasuke nodded and headed inside followed by satsuki (btw if your thinking why the hell are they having breakfast in his room then the answer is, i dont know, just imagine that he was given a very big room with a kitchen and all and sasuke and satsuki dont know how to cook) "hey can you watch them while i look for their poor little sensei?" "good morning to you too i guess" naruto chuckled and gave her a quick kiss "thanks"

naruto got on the roof of a tower and spread his senses "you up akari-chan?", there was silence for a few second before a reply came in a small yawn and a drowsy "5 more minutes" he chuckled while he focused on finding the copy nin, pinpointing his location and telling himself to mark the scarecrow he leaped to another roof

kakashi after a long time was trully at peace as he sat on a chair and talked with his supposed dead teammate rin, his head felt really light and not in a bad way, he heard a knock on the door, opening it to find naruto, naruto smiled at him "how are you doing" "you wouldn't beleive even if i told you" naruto chuckled before his face got serious "i think we both know that this is a serious situation as if you didnt catch on, she" he pointed towards rin who looked at him nervously "is supposed to be dead, by your hands if im right?" kakashi winced at the last comment but nodded, he was about to speak when an alarm went off, kakashi from his experience in the third great shinobi war and naruto from his recent war experience knew what that alarm meant, someone has infiltrated the village

meanwhile a woman with short, straight blue hair with a bun, grey eyes with lavender eye shadow. She wore a large light blue paper flower clipped on her bun. She wore a black cloak with red clouds on it and a ring on her right middle finger, the kanji on it meaning "white" (白, byaku, haku). She also wore orange nail polish "are you sure this is where the jinchuriki are pain?"
