Sakusa's Special Day

[Atsumu's POV]

If I had anything planned out for Sakusa today, it would most likely have to be pushed back or removed from our schedule altogether. Not only did some of our reservations for activities get pushed to later in the week, but also due to Sakusa sleeping in we missed the perfect time to go to the Zoo. I ended up grumbling quietly on my bed looking for some other activity that we could do after he awoke. I didn't really mind him spending his time sleeping, but we were wasting away time that could have been used to doing new things. It wasn't every day that we had time to come to Sendai and enjoy the views.

Eventually, my patience grew thin and I found myself sitting on the edge of Sakusa's bed, shaking him a bit roughly. Sakusa groaned in the process and turned in the other direction to avoid even looking at me. "Oh come on Omi. We have so much to do before we leave in two days." He didn't respond to me and simply continued to sleep all comfortably under the blankets. I rolled my eyes and stood up before grabbing hold of the end of the comforter and yanking it off the bed. Sakusa slowly withered himself into a ball but overall never made an effort to move. So much for having a proper sleep schedule.

However, I didn't have the mental fortitude to think much about his schedule as my eyes slowly scanned over his bare back. I felt like a weird pervert for staring hard at the muscles and scattered birthmarks. Yet I couldn't help it and just barely stopped myself from reaching over and touching him. A deep blush erupted on my face and I quickly turned to look away from him and whatever he had going on.

"O-Omi just get up," I muttered while covering my face.

"Can't I just sleep, Atsumu? Yesterday was too damn stressful to be dealing with something like this."

Pulling my hands away from my face, I turned around and glared. "Oh stop being such a grouch," I said and tugged on a loose curl at the top of his head. His eyes instantly popped open and he snapped up from the bed with an evident scowl on his face. "You're a real piece of work," he grumbled and stood from the bed. I laughed at the face he made and stepped aside so he could grab whatever he was reaching for in his suitcase. "So are ya coming with me or not?" He looked at me for a moment and nodded. There was still some evident tiredness latching to his eyes. It was endearing and more refreshing compared to the indifferent/cold expression he always wore. Obviously, he never was a morning person, and I always noticed that when I stayed over at his place. He'd purposely wake himself up on schedule no matter how tired he was. Not even sleep in for a few minutes if he really needed it.

I, however, was happy he didn't take that long to get ready, but it was quite funny in a way when he shoved a bunch of spare latex gloves, hand sanitizer, and antibacterial wipes in a messenger bag. I shook my head at his antics but decided not to speak about it as we left the hotel. "So where are you taking me to first exactly."

Smirking at his question, I skipped along right next to his figure. "Nope, it's a secret until we get there Omi." He grunted but surprisingly followed along as we walked to the one place that still had our reservation for activities. It took a bit of walking from the hotel, but we soon made it to a shop that had a cute little sign decorated with random figures.

"A pottery shop?"

"Not only that, you can make yer own, Omi." Quickly I grabbed his hand and tugged him inside the small shop. There was ambient music being played and the smell of earthy clay filled the air.

"Hi, welcome. Are you Miya Atsumu?" I nodded at the attendant as she smiled and led us over to a spot at a table. There was already some material set down along with paints. Sakusa made sure to wipe down the stool he was supposed to sit down at before actually taking a seat. It was evident that he was uncomfortable just having to be here. "Hey relax, Omi. I made sure to call ahead of time and told em' to do an extra wipe down on our table." He stared at me for a bit, an expression firm on his face. Unreadable to me but there was a hint of something in his eyes. Something that burned right through me. I wouldn't lie if I said that those eyes sent chills throughout my body.
