Christmas mORning | 😂

- (TW: Mentions of suicide, intensive kissing, swear words)-
The Despair Time gang wakes up on Christmas Morning for a lovely, "harmless" gift exchange.
This is an NKG(Non-Killing Game) AU. They all go to a normal college and are normal students. They don't have talents per se but they do excel at things they're good at and are recognized for that around the country. They also have more down-to-earth personalities.
They all live together in a very large family home btw.

"EVERYONE, WAKE UP!" Whit yelled happily, knocking on everyone's doors and skipping through the halls. "IT'S CHRISTMAS MORNING!" The matchmaker squealed, barely containing the enormous amount of excitement he had. Of course, everyone was prepared for Whit's Christmas antics, so they all wore noise-canceling headphones the night before, avoiding being jolted awake at 6 in the morning. Well, everyone except Arei Nageishi, the bowler girl; she was wide awake well before Whit and happily greeted her friend with a smile. "MERRY CHRISTMAS, WHIT!" She yelled, hugging her friend tightly, smiling ear-to-ear, and BEAMING with joy.

"Merry Christmas to you too, Arei," Whit smiled, kneeling slightly for a tight hug with his closest (platonic) friend until he was caught off guard by the sound of a camera shutter snap followed by some light laughter. Arei peeked behind Whit to see Ace Markey, the best jockey in the country, waving his phone and smiling. "Well, well, well, looks like I got some dirt on you two!" He teased, quickly gaining composure when Whit started chasing after him. Arei watched this play out as the others started waking up slowly.

"Merry Christmas, everyone!" Eden gleamed with her usual energy as she gave Arei a small peck on the cheek, followed by the two of them walking down the hall together. "Fine...happy holidays," Arturo sighed, grumbling. Was he giving in to the holiday spirit? Or maybe it was Veronika clinging onto his arm, pushing him to be happy. We will never know.

"Me and David wish you all a M-"

"Merry Christmas and Happy New Year," David interrupted Xander as the both of them were filled with holiday spirit to varying degrees. Unfortunately, Xander had broken his right leg, a few ribs, and his right arm really, really badly the week before in a car accident with Teruko, so he couldn't walk or move around. David insisted on carrying Xander bridal-style around the house until they could get him some medical help.

"Merry...Christmas...zzz..." Rose snored, basically sleepwalking. "M-Merry Cr-Christmas everyone.." Nico quietly muttered. "Happy Holidays to all," Levi calmly said. "Happy Holidays and especially a Merry Christmas to everyone!" Hu gleefully said as she walked down the hall. "Hmpf. Merry holidays," J grumbled as Min spoke right after. "It's Merry Christmas, which I do wish for everyone."

"Ngh...my side still hurts from that car crash..." Teruko groaned in pain, clutching her side. "Oh here, let me assist you," Levi kindly said, lifting Teruko onto his back as he walked down the long hallway into the living room where everyone was gathered around their Christmas tree.

"Everyone is here, I presume. May we start opening gifts?" Hu asked calmly. "Wait," Levi interjected. "Where are Ace, Charles, and Whit?" He asked, a bit worried. "Whit is chasing Ace... as for Charles, I dunno," Arei shrugged, not knowing where Charles was. This got everyone worried, as none of them knew where the chemist was. "I presume he's in his room alone, that's where he usually is during these types of events," Teruko stated, clearly having been through this before.

Eden took responsibility and walked to Charles' room and knocked on the door, no response. "Charles?" She muttered, opening the door to see Charles Cuevas, the world-renowned chemist, playing with Barbies on his bed. "How could you, Barbie?!" Charles squealed, holding up the Ken doll. "It's not what you think!" He squeaked in a girly voice, holding up the Barbie doll.
