Chapter Nine: Getting lost, imposter Loki, Loki vs Thanos, flying warships

Where the Avengers lived, there were a lot of walking tracks that everyone could do, and Indie and her family would often go for walks. All of the walking tracks were easy to complete and impossible to get lost in. However, this walk was going to have a very unexpected turn. There was a new walkway that had just opened, so everyone decided to check it out. It did not take long for everyone to notice that there were massive trees that were curved, providing shade from the sun, which was perfect for hot summer days. About halfway through their walk, Indie discovered a path that she was very curious about and asked her dad if she could explore that path. "May I please go explore that path, I promise I will meet up with you again once I have finished exploring the path?" "Yes, that's absolutely fine Indie, just let us know if you need any help finding us." Loki told his daughter. "Ok, will do." Indie told her dad. 

With that, Indie was off exploring this new and very interesting path. While Indie was walking, she came to a point in the path that split into two ways. Indie decided to go to the left, which led her to an amazing waterfall that was safe to swim in. Indie decided to leave the swimming for later, as she wanted to do that with her whole family, so Indie decided to keep on walking. After about another ten minutes, Indie realized that she had walked quite a far distance away from her family, and once she discovered that this path was a loop track, she decided to turn around and meet up with her family. As Indie was walking back, she went the same way that she came, however Indie soon realized that the path looked completely different and realized that she could not find her way back to where she started.

Indie had been taught that if she ever got lost, to stay in the same place until someone comes and finds her. So, Indie decided to get her phone out and look at the directions of the walk as the walk had data coverage. However, google maps were unable to give her directions that she needed, so Indie decided to try and call her dad. When there was no answer, she tried contacting T.E.A.M. O.T.A. as they were able to track where Indie was. However, the calls were not going through, and Indie realized that she was in an area where there was no data coverage. Indie had no other choice but to call out to her dad. "Loki, Loki where are you, I can't find my way back, I'm lost!" Indie shouted as loud as she could. 

Indie could have just flown out, however due to the position of the trees it would not be the safest option for Indie. Indie then decided just to stay put and hope for the best. As The Avengers came up to a rest stop, Loki wondered where Indie was, as it had been quite some time. "I wonder where Indie is as it has been quite a while since she started exploring that path. I just hope that Indie did not get lost." Loki said in a worried tone. "Don't worry Loki, Indie will come back to us, and even if Indie did get lost, she can just call us and let us know." Steve said, reassuring Loki. 

After The Avengers had their rest stop, they decided to head back home as it was starting to get a little bit cold and dark. When everyone got back to the start of the track, Loki decided to text and call Indie, as he was starting to get worried. "Huh, that's weird, I just tried to call Indie, but it said that her phone was unavailable to receive calls and my text that I just sent her did not send either." Loki informed everyone. "That is weird." Steve and Tony said at once. Everyone tried on their phones; however, no one had any success. "That only means one thing then, Indie has gotten lost. Indie must have gone into a part of the walk where there was no service" Loki told everyone. "It's ok Loki, we will find Indie, I promise, and we will not stop until we find Indie." Steve told Loki. 

Loki then contacted T.E.A.M. O.T.A. about the situation and they got straight into trying to find Indie. They decided to send out a helicopter as the propellers would be able to move the trees apart due to the force of them. During all of this, The Avengers were constantly checking their phones in case Indie managed to contact them. Of course, Loki and Ella were walking back and forth and asking every minute if they had found their daughter. Steve was trying to reassure Loki and Ella that they will find Indie and that nothing is going to happen to Indie.
