The next morning when Indie, Ford and Finn woke up, they immediately ran into their parents bedroom and started to jump on their bed to wake them up. "Good morning Indie, Ford and Finn. Merry Christmas!" Loki and Ella exclaimed. "Good morning, Merry Christmas mummy and daddy!" Indie, Ford and Finn exclaimed. "Why don't you go and sit down on our bed and we will get your stockings." Loki told Indie, Ford and Finn. "Ok!" Indie, Ford and Finn exclaimed.
When Indie, Ford and Finn received their stockings, they began looking inside and unwrapping everything that was in their stockings. Once that was done, everyone went downstairs to open their Christmas presents. "Oh my goodness!" Indie exclaimed "Wow!" Ford and Finn exclaimed when they walked downstairs and saw their massive pile of presents. Once Indie, Ford and Finn sat down, they started opening all of their presents. Of course Loki and Ella were capturing their children opening each of their gifts. When all the presents were opened. Loki and Ella brought out a medium size box with lots of holes in it. "What is that?" Indie questioned her parents with a very curious look on her face. "Well why you all open the box and see?" Loki and Ella told their children.
"A puppy!" Indie exclaimed when she opened the box with her brothers. Indie immediately reached into the box and carefully picked up the puppy. "Hi puppy!" Indie, Ford and Finn said while hugging and patting their new puppy. "Thank you so much mummy and daddy for our new puppy!" Indie, Ford and Finn told their parents. "You're very welcome Indie, Ford and Finn!" Loki and Ella told their children. It was a tradition in Asgard for families to have a pet that their children helped to take care of. This was to teach them responsibilities and to learn how to take care of animals. Indie always wanted to have a puppy, so Indie was beyond happy that her wish finally came true.
For the rest of the day Indie, Ford and Finn played with their new puppy and were thinking of a perfect name for their new puppy. After a little while of playing Indie exclaimed "I've got it! The name for our new puppy is Aslan!" Indie exclaimed and her brothers agreed. "That is such a perfect name Indie, Ford and Finn!" Loki and Ella told their children.
Over the next couple of months, Indie, Ford and Finn trained Aslan and taught him a whole bunch of tricks and would often put on talent shows for Aslan. Getting a puppy for Indie, Ford and Finn for Christmas was the most perfect decision ever and Indie, Ford and Finn were more than excited to take care of and raise their Aslan.
One of Indie's Christmas presents was a new bike since her other bike was getting a little bit small for her. Indie knew that she was only allowed to ride her bike outside as one of the rules was no riding bikes inside. One sunny afternoon, Indie was riding her bike outside on the grass and playing with Aslan. Aslan started to run inside and Indie followed him while still on her bike and attempted to bring her bike inside. "Indie, you know the rules, no riding bikes inside, can you please take your bike back outside." Ella asked her daughter. Indie decided to ignore her mum and continued to ride her bike inside. Loki then walked over to his daughter, placed both of hands on the handle bars and said, "Indie, listen to mummy please, take your bike outside now please." Loki told his daughter in a firm tone. Indie looked at her dad and turned her bike around and took it back outside.
Indie waited ten minutes before sneaking back inside with her bike. Indie decided to go into the house another way and managed to ride her bike for five minutes before being stopped by her dad. "Indie, this is your last warning, if you come inside with your bike one more time, you will have to get off your bike and it will have to go away in the shed." Loki told her daughter with a very stern voice. Indie turned her bike around and made her way back outside.
Once Indie was back outside, she hopped off her bike and put the bike down on the grass to play on her jungle gym. Indie played on her jungle gym for an hour before hopping back on her bike. Indie thought that after an hour, her mum and dad would forget that Indie brought her bike inside two other times and would let her off with another warning. Therefore Indie decided to ride her bike inside one again. Indie managed to get into the house and quietly rode her bike. Only one minute passed and Loki realized that Indie was riding her bike inside again, even after two warnings. Loki walked over to his daughter and when Indie realized that her dad saw her riding her bike inside, Indie started to ride her bike faster trying to avoid getting off her bike. When Loki managed to catch up to his daughter, he stood behind Indie, wrapped one of his arms around Indie and took Indie's hands off the handle bars and said "Indie, you are getting off your bike now and it is going away in the shed, you already had two warnings and you decided not to listen." Ella came over to where Indie and Loki were, picked up the bike and carried it over to the shed and put it away.
Obviously Indie did not like this at all and started to throw a tantrum. Indie lay down on the ground and started screaming and crying. Loki picked up Indie and took her over to the quiet area. While Loki was carrying Indie, she was kicking, hitting, screaming and crying. When Loki put Indie back on the ground, Indie continued to kick, hit, scream and cry. Loki sat down on the ground however making sure that he gave Indie space so that she did not hurt herself or her dad.
Indie very rarely had tantrums, but they were always really loud and turned into meltdowns when she did have them. Ever since Indie was born, she found it difficult to regulate her own emotions, so that is why Loki always sat with Indie when she was having quiet time to support Indie with this. Indie's meltdown lasted for fifteen minutes and when Indie stopped screaming, Loki laid down beside Indie and started stroking her head. "Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, it's ok baby, you are safe here, I am here with you, it's going to be alright, I am here for you, you are safe with me here, it's ok." Loki whispered while comforting Indie. After five minutes Indie sat up and Loki did the same and then pulled Indie into a hug and hugged her and comforted Indie. Ella then made up a drink to help sooth Indie's throat since she had been screaming and crying so much. "Here baby, drink this, it will help sooth your throat." Ella said to Indie as she gave Indie one of her drink bottles. Indie grabbed it and started drinking and snuggled her dad.
Since Indie had difficulty regulating her emotions, she found it hard to communicate her feelings with words, so that is why Indie would cry, scream and have meltdowns. Loki and Ella tried multiple ways to support Indie with this and the methods that they were currently using was working perfectly. After Indie had finished her drink, she continued to snuggle with her dad and played on her IPad.
