Chapter Fourteen: Indie's passion for climbing

Since Indie was adventurous, Indie always loved climbing and would always be on her climbing wall in her energy release room. Indie also loved climbing trees and basically anything that she would be able to climb. Since Indie loved to climb on anything, some things that she climbed on were not exactly safe and even though Indie never got injured while climbing and was a very confident and perfect climber, Loki and Ella would always keep a close eye on Indie. However, Indie started climbing more and more and was venturing into climbing more dangerous things such as fences, door frames and shelves. Even though Indie had her jungle gym outside, Indie always decided to climb on dangerous objects. 

Indie was also going through a stage where she decided to not listen to her mum and dad when asked to not climb something and to put her feet back on the ground. "Indie, feet back down on the ground please, it is not safe to climb up there, hop down please." Ella asked her daughter. Indie simply ignored her mum and continued to stand on the shelf. Loki then walked over to Indie and said "you need to listen please, feet back down on the ground, come on please. Indie decided to ignore her dad as well. Loki then wrapped one of his arms around Indie's waist and took Indie's hands off with his other hand, picked Indie up and put Indie back onto the ground. 

Indie tried to run back to the shelf to try and climb it again, however Loki was quick to stop his daughter and redirected Indie to something else that she could climb that was safer. Over the next week, Indie became very sneaky and would climb things that were out of her mum and dad's sight and Indie thought that she was getting away with it, until Steve spotted Indie. "Indie, what are you doing?" "Um nothing." Indie replied with a very innocent face. "You weren't climbing that were you?" Steve asked Indie. "No of course not." Indie replied with an innocent look on her face. "You know the rules about climbing on dangerous objects." Steve told Indie. Indie then ran out of the room and tried to climb something else, however Steve caught up with Indie and stopped Indie from climbing anything else. Steve then picked up Indie and carried her over to her parents. 

"Hey Loki and Ella." Steve said. "Yes Steve?" Loki and Ella asked. "Indie here was climbing up on her bookcase in her bedroom and then tried to climb up the bookcase in your bedroom." Steve told Loki and Ella. "Indie, you know the rules about climbing dangerous objects. You need to sit at the table for fifteen minutes." Loki told Indie. Loki then took Indie from Steve and carried her over to the kitchen table. Indie obviously tried to put up a fight, however she was unsuccessful.

After a minute of Indie sitting at the table, Indie said "I'm board, I want to leave the table." "I know you are board Indie, however you know the rules and you knew that this was going to happen." Loki told Indie. After five minutes, Indie tried to climb on the table but Loki was quick to stop Indie. "Indie you need to be sitting down on your chair please. We don't climb on tables." Loki said to Indie as he sat Indie back down on her chair. Indie tried to do this five more times but were unsuccessful each time. 

After the fifteen minutes were up, Loki walked over to Indie, bent down to her level and said "Your fifteen minutes is up now. So Indie, why did you have to sit at the table for fifteen minutes?" "Because I was climbing on objects that were not safe." Indie told her dad. "That's right, and what objects were those?" Loki asked Indie. "Bookcases." Indie replied. "Yes, and why don't mummy and I want you climbing on objects like bookcases, shelves, door frames and fences?" Loki asked Indie "Because it is not safe, and I could get hurt." Indie told her dad. "That's right. I know that you are such a perfect and confident climber, but sometimes things are not always the safest to climb. You can climb other things thought like your jungle gym and your energy release room." Loki told Indie. "I'm sorry for climbing on dangerous objects, I just love climbing." Indie apologized to her dad. "It's ok, I forgive you, we just didn't want you to get severely injured that's all. Come here, give me a hug baby." Loki told Indie. Indie then jumped into her dad's arms and Loki picked Indie up, walked over to the couch, sat down and snuggled Indie. 

A week later, Loki and Ella took Indie to an adrenaline park where Indie could climb till her hearts content. Asgardian children were taught how to climb at a very young age and climbing was part of the skills that each child learnt as it was very useful in battels and missions. Once Indie got her harness on, she started climbing. Indie obviously had lots of strength in her arms, legs, hands and feet and was able to get a very strong grip on multiple surfaces. Indie climbed for a good three hours and very rarely took a break during those three hours. Indie truly was fearless and did not hesitate to complete any of the courses and levels. Indie had always had a very strong passion for climbing and Loki and Ella were constantly providing equipment for Indie to climb on and would always encourage Indie to climb, as long as it was not on dangerous objects. 

After Indie had finished climbing, Indie took her harness off and Loki, Ella and Indie headed home and Indie instantly had a nap as she was super tired after all of that climbing. After an hour had passed, Loki woke Indie up for dinner. "Indie baby, it is time to wake up now, it's dinner time." Loki said while gently rubbing Indie's arm. Indie turned to face her dad and rubbed her eyes before opening them. "Hi baby, did you have a nice nap?" Loki whispered to Indie. Indie just nodded her head. Loki then sat Indie up, sat down on the couch and pulled Indie into his lap to help her wake up. After a good five minutes, Loki stood up and carried Indie to the table and sat down with Indie still sitting on his lap. Loki then offered Indie some food, however Indie just turned her head away and snuggled into her dad's shoulder. "Are you still tired sweetie?" Loki asked his daughter. Indie just nodded her head. 
Loki started eating his dinner and after about ten minutes, Loki offered Indie some more food and Indie started eating, however only taking small bites as she was still waking up. After another five minutes, Indie started taking bigger bites when she started to wake up more. Every time when Indie woke up from a nap, she didn't have much strength in her arms until she fully woke up, so this is why Loki was feeding Indie. 

After when Indie had finished dinner, she washed her face and chillaxed on the couch and watched some tv.
