Hades was the god of the underworld. Hades was known for his great wealth and elaborate palace. He was a powerful god and ruled over a great kingdom. Hades was feared by all who crossed his path, but that was Zeus' fault. Zeus was the king of the gods, so when he spoke, people listened. Zeus hated Hades; they never had a good brotherly bond.
Zeus spread rumors about Hades to make him and his kingdom look good, only to distract from the fact that Olympus was just as bad as the underworld, maybe even worse. Zeus told the other gods that Hades was a disgusting, selfish monster, but he wasn't. In reality, Hades was one of the nicest gods out there. A walking green flag, some would say.
Not only was he really kind-hearted, but he was very attractive. Hades's hair wasn't blue and it didn't light on fire like people said. His hair was black and curly. He looked like he was at the good age of twenty; he had soft, pale skin. His eyes were blue with golden flakes. He was very tall as well.
Hades always sits in his office doing paperwork for new arrivals. It's his job to document every mortal who comes to the underworld, no matter what. Some days he has one person to document and others he has twenty. Anyone who somehow gets into the underworld isn't allowed to leave unless it is another god or goddess. Sometimes if the days are slow Hades will go to Earth for a little while to get a taste of normalcy. Although there are thousands of people in the underworld, Hades was always lonely.
