~Few minutes ago~

Ahh what does Auggie likes? Winnie says in his mind while looking at the different kinds of pastries on display.
Maybe this one...but what if its too bitter? Ah...wow that one looks soo pretty... Winnie's eyes seems to sparkle on while looking through this specific pastry. It has this kind of puffy look, filled with frosting and fruits in the middle. What is it called again? Winnie questions himself.

"Goodmorning sir! What can I help you with?"

A young lady appeared behind him who seems one of the workers here. Shes probably going to ask him if he was interested on the pastry he had been staring for a while.

"Ah! May I ask how much is this one over here?"

Winnie asked the waiter in hopes that it won't cost that much.

"That one cost about 7.49 dollars sir."

"..."

7.49 dollars what kind of bread is this to be so expensive??? Winnie was shock on how expensive it is, he didn't really have a enough budget to buy it. And now Winnie is pondering if he should buy it or not considering that he have other plans with Augustine that will cost him some of his money.

"Ah...thanks but I think I will be looking for something else."

The waiter nodded in response

"If you need anything else please call me."

"Yes thank you."

And that the waiter walked away leaving Winnie alone in his thoughts.
Winnie checked his phone and-its already 9 o'clock! Winnie curse himself as he exited the bakery running. I'm already lateeee! I hope Auggie won't get angry!

The bakery was almost 20 minutes away from the park and theres no time to wait for a cab. So whats the best decision to make? Run well for Winnie it was the best thing he can think about.

Winnie arrived at the park where he told Augustine to meet up. At this point he looks like he went through a marathon.

Winnie was breathing so heavily as sweat from his forehead dripping to the ground. God I look like a mess!
Winnie whines to himself while walking tiredly through the park.

Winnie was looking around trying to spot where Augustine was at. Then his eyes sifted trough where the brunnete was currently standing just waiting for him to arrive. Winnie smiles exitedly, he was finally able to see his best friend for almost a year now even though they do engage in a video call to one another from time to time. For Winnie it felt alot more different. He was filled with so much excitement so much so he was running towards the brown head with open armsas if he was about to give Augustine a big hug and he did.

"Augustine you came!"

Winnie shouted with so much excitement.

"Yeah... and I thought I was the one late."

"Oh haha, sorry about that."

"What happened to you anyways?"

"I just got off the train earlier and I was having trouble to find any conveyance so I just ran all the way here!"

And it was a lie. He was actually looking to buy something for the brunette but decided to save up some cash for his other plans.

"You know, you could've just said that you were going to be late. Instead of running all the way here you could atleast waited for a taxi cab."

"I just don't want you to keep waiting and theres traffic anyways."

Winnie said trying his best not to look embarrased, he actually just realize that he could've done that instead of looking like a mess in the process but today his brain is just not braining (whenever Augustine is involve that is).

"Yes but-"

"Buttt?"

Winnie response trying to tease him.
He heard Augustine signs.

"Nevermind."

"Soooo- Auggie how have you been?"

Just Winnie trying to open a conversation.

"I'm doing fine and what about you?"

"Fine as well, heh."

...

Should I ask him?

"Hey Auggie I've been wondering to ask you something?"

"What?"

"Do you...uhhh."

WAIT- should I ask him right now? Come on Winnie think...what if he finds it weird then what? Arghhhh!

"Do I? What? Get straight to the point!"

That made him snap back to reality.

"Uhhh..."

What should I say??

"Just say it."

"I-I forgot!"

Winnie stutters as thats what all he can say out of his mouth.

"Forgot huh?"

"Y-Yeah! I forgot!"

"Right..."

Maybe this isn't the right time to ask him yet...
