The next day, the cracks in the wall were gone and there was no sign of anything else showing that the wall had been damage in any possible way, like they were left untouched all night. The citizens had felt the ground rumbling and shaking last night and obviously got the biggest scare of their lives, but they couldn't certify what could possibly have caused it all.

"The Soul Reaper struck again as a result of some residents who ignored the curfew and went outside anyway, leading to a number of a two hundred seventy people disappearing. The bodies are yet to be found, but all that is left of them are trails and puddles of blood at the places where they were last seen."

Those were the statements that every news channel had shared on live TV. And as for what happened last night at the Director's office, they found a horrific yet somewhat relieving scene inside the office. Although they weren't sure if it was what they thought it would be.

Everything that was made of glass was shattered, but it wasn't caused by a weapon or any other physical force, but rather by a loud and ear-piercing sound. And in the middle of the room stood a statue of the Director with cracks all over them, only the head was missing. The sword laid right next to the statue on the floor. It was one big mess and they didn't know whether to feel relieved to know the Soul Reaper had payed the Director a quick visit or to feel extremely scared knowing now with the Director truly gone, they had to listen to Mr. Thunderblade's advice.

Even after everything that had happened with Ambrosius and the knights at Hell Hill, they finally understood that the Soul Reaper truly is out for blood and that the people who had marked their homes had been left one by it. All they had to do was actually listen to Mr. Thunderblade and his knowledge. And what they've also found out is that Mr. Thunderblade actually had an old, rare children's book collection of the Soul Reaper, seven books in total. As dark and disturbing those books were to the realm's minors, they did feel like that was the only child-friendly way of bringing awareness of the demon to their children.

And that made them want to create and sell more and more copies of the book collection, especially since not only was it the first time they've ever heard of them, it was because they were so rare and so frail that they couldn't risk to possibly tear the pages by accident.

The realm had become more chaotic and hysteric than before ever since the most recent events that had occurred. The Soul Reaper coming back to continue its work, Adeen impaling a nurse at the hospital and was still on the run and Ballister that was far from his true character and killed a roomful of knights without any valid reason. Those three things going on at once took a huge toll on Ambrosius and at the same time, he had to try and protect Ballister from the people who keep accusing him and criminalizing again, which meant he had to stay in lockdown in the tower and not come out at all times.

"Oh, this is just comical. He's just like Rapunzel, only he's been chased away instead of stolen." Adeen ate a bowl of roasted corn while watching the tower from the tavern's rooftop with her binoculars, along with Ghost sitting right next to her and was playing with a dead mouse.

As Ghost swallowed the mouse, Adeen looked away for a second and glanced at her cloak sitting right next to her and then back at Ghost.

"Should we pay him a visit with a basket of apples? Maybe just a comb? He could use a new hairstyle for a change." Adeen jested, grabbing another handful of roasted corn and stuffed her mouth full with it.

Immediately, Adeen ducked down as an empty can came flying towards her head from behind. Watching it fall all the down from the rooftop, she glanced back and saw Nimona approaching her and sitting down on the edge in front of her.

After Nimona removed the bowl from her spot and placed it on her lap, staring directly into Adeen's eyes with interrogation and hints of irritation and slowly leaned forward. Nimona didn't utter a word and it made Adeen slowly lean backwards and stare right back at her.
