A pink sparrow flew over the kingdom, patrolling every park and every town to find the one person they're desperately looking for. Adeen. Deep down, they knew it was Adeen who took Ballister's form, but at the same time they didn't hope to be right. They knew that they and Adeen were the two only shapeshifters in the realm, but that didn't stop them from giving her the benefit of the doubt.

They descended from the sky and landed on a branch on one of the trees that were standing right next to the wall. And right above them was the entrance that had been closed shut due to last night's attack. Disappointment and hopelessness was the last thing they thought they would feel when the people began to travel outside the walls after coming to the discovery of the outside world.

But they didn't think one thing through. That there might be some creatures out there who are not in friendly terms with humans or have had bad history with human and now began to viscously attack them. Something they wished they could have prepared them for that or at least told them that not every creature is as friendly towards humans as her.

It wasn't until she heard voices coming from the woods, two voices to be exact. It was Adeen and she was talking to someone else, because a deep and raspy men's voice could be heard and both of them sounded agitated and stressed about something. Adeen was just telling the man to just shut his mouth and that he should not poke his nose deeper into her personal business.

Shifting into her human form, Nimona tiptoed toward the sound and hid behind a tree to take a closer look of it, just to realize it had gone quiet fast and got a heart attack when Adeen appeared out of nowhere from around the tree where Nimona was hiding behind.

"Holy fucking shit, Adeen! Don't scare me like that! And what are you even doing here?" Nimona asked as she clutched at the collar of her shirt.

"I'm walking with Ghost. What are you doing here?" Adeen asked back, correcting the hood of her cloak.

"Brr, chilly."

"Looking for you, actually. Who were you just talking to?"

"Oh, some high douche bag came out of a bush and was harassing me. And by the way, I'm here to process the idea of how the Director could've possibly survived all that falling rubble when, uh... y'know. That. Maybe she kept herself tiny, like the wee ant she is, because that's a survival tactic." Adeen theorized and then added.

"Or maybe the blow caused her to not die directly, but perhaps it caused her to literally get blown outside the wall and now she's out there somewhere. She must be outside, roaming, plotting and brooding."

Nimona began to roll her eyes and scoffed.

"Maybe Boss and Goldie were right about you being a conspiracy theorist."

"I am not a conspiracy theorist, these people are just so fucking gullible and live under a rock! And by the way, I was merely joking. Of course the Director isn't outside the wall, she'd rather die in here than live a day out there."

"About that, how did you even know when we didn't even discovered it yet?" Nimona questioned Adeen as she got a response from her.

"I don't know, I had a gut feeling and I've kept an eye on what the surveillance cameras have caught."

Nimona stopped Adeen from walking any further, keeping a strong grip on both of her shoulder and pulling her close.

"How do you have access to any surveillance cameras? I'm serious right now, which isn't exactly me, but still!"

"Have you forgotten? I've told the three of you about the leak of those camera footages all across the realm and I collected all those footages for myself to judge other people and make up stories for in my personal journal when I have a rough fucking day. There, you want any more tiny details?" Adeen rambled and Nimona released her, feeling sheepish as a deep red blush spread across her cheeks.
