"So, that thing from the cathedral had been asleep for a thousand years? And thanks to me and Todd it woke up and will terrorize the realm?!"

"Ambrosius, I'm sure that it was just Todd who woke up the demon. You told me how loud and bold he had been acting on Hell Hill. Which, by the way, is a fitting name. Compared to what happened with you and everyone else."

Ballister and Ambrosius had been going back and forth about the Soul Reaper matter while staying at the tower. Ballister was preparing a meal for Ambrosius after he made him lay down on the couch with two pillows and three blankets. Ballister had placed a chair in front of the microwave and waited as he took a bottle of pills that the doctor had prescribed for Ambrosius.

He wished he could have cooked his boyfriend a fresh and healthy meal, but he stopped trying after evaporating the water of the pasta and burning the sauce that resulting to having to throw another pan away.

He took the pills, grind them and put it into the meal, which was mashed potatoes with peas and gravy. Grabbing a fork, he put the plate on the table and helped Ambrosius to sit upright.

"What is going to happen now? They will all realize that I've put them into so much potential danger, all because I wanted to explore unknown land so badly. I've failed the realm, again." Ambrosius lamented with his head turned down.

Ballister put his hand on his thigh and rubbed soothing circles on it.

"You haven't done anything like that. I mean, how were we supposed to know about the Soul Reaper's existence in the first place? We were never taught any of that other than the story of Nim-" Ballister stopped himself and ran his fingers through his hair.

"By the way, Nimona has gone with Adeen again. I really don't know how that even happened, but they've seemed to have become sudden besties."

"Yeah, maybe it's a good thing if you really look at it. Nimona finally has a real friend besides you and Adeen isn't as much as a nuisance in public as she used to be. So that's good, right?" Ambrosius asked.

"Maybe, but I also feel like I'm starting to lose her. I know how ridiculous that sounds, but I don't know how else to describe it." Ballister vented, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Hey, Bal. I'm sure that's nothing to be worried about and-" Ambrosius suddenly stopped himself and shot up from the couch, staring off into space.

"What is it?" Ballister asked.

"Wait a minute. If the Soul Reaper simply had four red eyes, towering height and a cloak, then what was that creature with the wolf skull that attacked us?" Ambrosius asked as he frowned and tried to gather his previous memories, despite how inflicting they were on his mind.

Ballister on the other hand was sucking his teeth in an embarrassed and shameful way, before pulling out the old scroll from Mr. Thunderblade from his cloak's pocket. He had secretly stolen a few more of the scrolls regarding the Soul Reaper and the prophecy.

"It appears that the Soul Reaper has a henchman. It's a Hellhound."

"Where did you even get that?" Ambrosius asked, Ballister answered with.

"Apparently, Mr. Thunderblade is a retired demonologist and keeps scrolls, books and stuff covered in dust. He knows everything about demons and told me everything about the Soul Reaper and what it is capable of."

"Then he might become very helpful once I convince him to come and help us gather more information. Me and the government had already been in an online meeting and we've actually gone back and forth the entire time, but we did come with one suggestion that might work."
