Chapter 12 Left By Ahkmenrah

After a month of nothing here, at the British museum, finally I can feel alive again. I'm already in Museum of Natural History. Where's Ahkmenrah? Is he mad because our misunderstanding? I get out from my sarcophagus and I see him outside. Sitting with an Egyptian princess. 

"Ahk, who is that?", the princess say.

"Aurea. My love in the past", Ahk say. He's not even looking at me.

"But now I'm your love, isn't? Your love until future", she say.

What? Ahk say I'm his past future? And she is his love now? I can't say anything. I'm freezing. My heart really hurt. It's breaking into pieces. But I can't just freeze here. I have to get Ahk back to me. I force myself to talk.

"Ahk, I'm so sorry. Please don't treat me like this.

Ahk don't look to me. There's silence for a moment.

"Then don't treat me like that", Ahk say.

"What did I do?" I ask.

"You betray me with my own brother!"

"No! I would never do that. It's a  misunderstanding, my king. I can't love anybody more than I love you", I say.

"A misunderstanding. You kissed my brother and you give our love sign to him. Is it a misunderstanding?" he ask.

"Yes. And I didn't kiss your brother, he kissed me by force. And I give my necklace to him because if I don't, he'll kill my brother", I explain.

"But he died anyway. I don't believe you".

"Ahk please, just listen", I beg.

Ahk's not listening to me.

"Please get her away, my king. She's disturbing", the princess say.

"You heard her, Aurea. Go away", Ahk order me.

I can't believe he treat me like a useless servant. Then I see them kiss each other. I'd rather stay in the British Museum, lifeless than see this. I run away from there. I sit in the hall of miniatures, crying. If only my brother still alive, he will comfort me. Here I have nobody. I'm hopeless.

"Hey Princess! What's wrong?" Jedediah ask.

I don't answer him.

"Did Ahk leave you for that Princess Nora?" he add.

"Yes", I answer.

"What happened until he do that to you?" Octavious ask.

"He think I betray him with Kahmunrah, but actually I don't. It's a misunderstanding", I say.

"You better watch her, princess. She's evil", Octavious say.

"Who? That princess with Ahk?" I ask.

"Yes. Princess Nora. She's so mean to us", Jedediah reply.

"She want the tablet and kill Ahk just for power", Octavious add.

"What? Not again.."

I have to protect Ahk. I have to say this to him. But will he listen? Will he trust me? But I don't dare to see him again. I'm already hurt so much because of him. I can't see him with another woman....
