Tom was a brilliant student, known for his intellect and his piercing gaze. He was ambitious, determined to forge his own path in the magical world. No wonder he was in Slytherin house.

Tom's eyes narrowed as he stood tall before his brother. "Y/N is not a weakness, Matteo. She is my strength. Love is a power that fuels us, gives us purpose, and inspires us to be the best version of ourselves. You will never understand that. She will stand beside me as the dark queen."

Matteo's face twisted with anger, and he raised his wand threateningly. But before he could utter a spell, Tom stepped forward, shielded Y/N, and drew out his own wand.

"I won't let you harm her, Matteo. I will protect her with everything I have. You will not take this love away from me." Tom's voice was firm but filled with desperation – a plea to his brother to understand.

In that moment, a mixture of emotions flickered across Matteo's face – rage, envy, but also a tinge of regret. He lowered his wand, defeated. "You're right, Tom. I don't understand. But maybe...maybe I can learn."

Tom's guard dropped, and he looked deeply into his brother's eyes. "Matteo, we are family, you are my brother. It's not too late to change. We can stand together, support each other, and embrace love instead of tearing it down."

Matteo stared back, his expression slowly softening. The realization of his mistakes dawned on him, reminding him of the emptiness he felt when driven by jealousy and disdain. He nodded, silently accepting his brother's offer of reconciliation.
