Slytherin x Ravenclaw

The Great Hall at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was bustling with students, their excited chatter echoing off the enchanted walls. Among the sea of flowing black robes, Theo Nott, a sixth year Slytherin, stood tall with a stern expression etched across his face. He scanned the room for his girlfriend, Amelia Parkinson, a Ravenclaw with fiery red hair and a mischievous smile.

Spotting her a few tables away, Theo made his way over, his strides purposeful and confident. As he reached her side, he noticed a Slytherin boy, Marcus Flint, leaning towards Amelia, a condescending smirk plastered across his face. His words were inaudible to Theo, but his intent was unmistakable. Anger bubbled within him, threatening to spill over.

Theo approached the couple, his eyes locked onto Marcus, who seemed to relish in his discomfort. Without hesitation, Theo clenched his fists, his voice laced with controlled rage. "Is there a problem here, Marcus?"

Marcus smirked, clearly enjoying the situation. "Well, look who decided to show up. Your precious girlfriend here needs someone better than a no-good Slytherin like you."

Amelia furrowed her brows, her fiery spirit catching hold. "Marcus, cut it out! Leave us alone!"

But Marcus ignored her protests, focusing entirely on aggravating Theo. "What's the matter, Nott? Can't handle the truth? Your girlfriend deserves someone who can actually protect her, not some weakling like you."

Theo's usually calm demeanor faltered, his patience wearing thin. he took a deep breath, trying to rein in his anger before responding, but with every taunting word, his anger surged. In a swift motion, Theo swung his arm, delivering a hefty punch that caught Marcus square in the jaw.

The Great Hall fell silent as students turned their attention towards the altercation. They watched in stunned silence as Marcus stumbled backward, clutching his cheek in pain. The tension in the room grew palpable as everyone anticipated what would happen next.

As Marcus regained his footing, his face contorted with fury. He lunged towards Theo; his fist aimed squarely for his jaw. Acting on instinct and years of dueling practice, Theo swiftly ducked and sidestepped the attack, much to the shock of those around them.

Using his agility to his advantage, Theo skillfully evaded Marcus' strikes, ensuring he didn't lay another hand on him or Amelia. With each evasive move, he found himself growing more confident, his anger channeled into precise and calculated motions. It was clear that he had the upper hand.

Soon, Professor McGonagall burst into the Great Hall, her cat-like eyes scanning the scene. "Enough! Both of you, cease this behavior at once!" she commanded, her authoritative voice cutting through the air.

Reluctantly, Theo and Marcus backed away from each other, their heavy breaths audible in the awkward silence that followed suit. The Great Hall erupted into whispers as students excitedly exchanged stories of the fight that had just unfolded.

With an authoritative glare, Professor McGonagall addressed both young men sternly. "Detention for both of you," she declared, her voice leaving no room for argument. "Fighting is not tolerated at Hogwarts. This incident is disgraceful, regardless of the cause."

As the commotion died down and the other students resumed their meals, Theo glanced at Amelia, his eyes filled with remorse. "I'm sorry, love. I shouldn't have let my anger get the best of me," he said, his voice full of regret.

Amelia reached out, her touch gentle and forgiving. "Just promise me you won't let anyone bring you down like that again. We'll face these challenges together, Theo."

With a nod and a renewed determination, Theo pulled her closer, a newfound sense of unity between them. No matter what challenges lay ahead, they would stand by each other's side, ready to defend against anyone who dared to be rude or disrespectful to their relationship.
