Draco Malfoy, renowned pure-blood wizard and former Slytherin student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, had always held a strong prejudice against muggles. He believed himself to be superior to them in every way.
One day, while exploring the Muggle world with a few of his fellow Death Eaters, Draco stumbled upon a peculiar shop. It was filled with rows upon rows of small rectangular objects, each containing a picture and a strange symbol on the front. Intrigued, Draco decided to find out more about these peculiar items.
He entered the shop cautiously, ensuring his presence didn't attract any unwanted attention. The shopkeeper, a balding man with spectacles perched on his nose, greeted him warmly.
"Welcome, sir! Looking for something specific?" the shopkeeper asked.
Draco gave a dismissive wave and simply said, "I'm merely curious about these muggle contraptions. What purpose do they serve?"
The shopkeeper smiled knowingly and replied, "They are called 'movies.' They are an art form, where stories are captured on film."
Draco's curiosity piqued, he walked closer to examine some of the movies. He picked one up and examined the cover. It depicted a group of people running from a terrifying creature.
"Are these supposed to be real events, then?" Draco asked skeptically.
The shopkeeper chuckled and explained, "No, they're fictional stories. They are created by muggles to entertain themselves. Would you like to see one?"
Reluctantly, Draco agreed, his curiosity getting the better of him. The shopkeeper directed him towards a small room in the back, outfitted with comfortable chairs facing a large screen. Draco settled himself down, not entirely sure what to expect.
As the lights dimmed and the movie started, Draco watched in awe. He was transported into a whole new world, different from any he had ever known. The cinematic experience unfolded before his eyes, with vivid colors, breathtaking scenery, and captivating performances.
Draco watched movie after movie, enthralled by the stories, amazed at the muggle's ability to create such illusions. He had always thought magic to be the pinnacle of entertainment, but these movies showed him an entirely different facet of creativity.
From action-packed adventures to romantic dramas, Draco discovered a newfound appreciation for muggle movies. He even found himself relating to some of the characters, stepping into their shoes and experiencing a sense of empathy he had never felt before.
As Draco delved deeper into the realm of movies, he realized that his disdain for muggles had been misguided. He understood that while they lacked wizarding abilities, their unique capabilities gave rise to incredible art forms, like movies, that could touch the hearts and minds of people from all walks of life.
Upon returning to the wizarding world, Draco couldn't help but share his newfound discovery with his fellow pure-blood friends. He organized secret movie nights, where they would gather in private rooms, enchanted to resemble the settings on the screen.
Though initially met with skepticism, Draco's enthusiasm and the sheer magic of movies gradually won them over. They, too, came to appreciate the talents muggles possessed.
In the end, Draco Malfoy's exposure to muggle movies challenged his prejudice and opened his mind to the idea that true greatness could exist in various forms, regardless of magical abilities or blood status.
